About this property

Holiday home with panoramic views over the lake and private boat

This nice holiday home is located by lake Sillhövden in Holmsjö on the border between Småland and Blekinge. The house is completely renovated, approximately 100 square meters with five rooms and a kitchen and has a splendid view of the lake.



Down by the lake there is a rowing boat that can be used free of charge. There is also a nice swimming area just 5 minutes from the house. It is excellent fishing in the lake for pike and perch. Fishing licenses can be bought in the shop in Holmsjö.



In Holmsjö there is a pizzeria and grocery store. Down by the lake there is also a very cozy cafe that is open during the summer. The surroundings offer many lovely lakes and deep forests with berries and mushrooms. You can also easily get to the coastal town of Karlskrona for day trips.

The guest arrives, receives a full briefing, and is shown everything. They are informed that they should contact us within 24 hours if there are any complaints. The guest departs the next day and then contacts us to report that the house is dirty, the oven is moldy, and the pictures are not realistic. The house was thoroughly cleaned beforehand and will be renovated by spring 2025. The kitchen and all appliances are just two years old. There is no mold; all rooms and appliances were photographed and documented before arrival and handover. The house is in very good condition, which the previous week's guest gratefully confirms in the guest book. Therefore, there must be another reason why this guest left the next day. Unfortunately, there was no response to our inquiries regarding the complaints raised.
