Rauscher Holiday Rental:

Dear Holidaymakers!
Do you want to enjoy nature, go hiking around Bärenstein, unwind, or experience culture? Then you’ve come to the right place. Visit Dresden, the capital of Saxony, and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains; take a boat ride up the Elbe on one of the world’s oldest paddlewheel steamboats, and visit Königstein Fortress or the Felsenbühne open-air theatre in Rathen. All of these destinations are less than an hour’s drive away.

In winter, you can cross-country ski on approximately 40 km of groomed trails around Altenberg, or take the lift up the mountain. At the Geising Ice Arena, you can skate a few laps. All of this is less than 10 km from your lodging.
Of course, the Ore Mountains are at their most beautiful during the Advent
and Christmas season, when the light arches shine in the windows,
and angels and miners evoke old mining traditions.
GOOD LUCK
