About this property

Vacation apartment Kuhstall - Biohof Seifert

The Kuhstall holiday rental (44 m²) is located on the courtyard side of the house and offers direct access to the terrace. It features a bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a combined living-dining area with a built-in kitchen (ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer), satellite TV, and Wi-Fi, as well as a bathroom with a shower. The apartment is wheelchair accessible. The “Kuhstall” and “Schneckenhaus” holiday apartments are two separate units that are connected by a lockable double door and can be booked together if desired.



Our organic farm is located at the foot of the Geisingberg; we farm approximately 76 hectares of pastureland and 14 hectares of arable land organically. The pastureland is grazed by our herd of mother cows (Harz Red Highland Cattle). Our livestock also includes two rabbits and four chickens, so there are almost always fresh eggs available. We completely renovated our home with the help of 2019-2021, creating four cosy holiday apartments. Two of these apartments are wheelchair-accessible. We also have a cosy common room, making us a great choice for family gatherings or group trips. Ample parking is available.
Our farm is located in the hiking area of the Altenberg municipality in the Eastern Ore Mountains. Hiking trails lead directly from our farm to nearby and more distant destinations. For example, to the Osterzgebirge Wildlife Park, up to the Geisingberg with its nature reserves, to Lauenstein Castle, or around Bärenstein with its local history museum and the Pochwerk on the market square. 



On-site costs: No deposit is required. The total amount is paid at the end of your stay by credit card or cash. Check-in: 3:00 PM–7:00 PM Check-out: 10:00 AM Keys are handed over in person on site. Pets: Not allowed. Cot/extra bed: Upon request. Visitor’s tax: Free for children under 6; €1.35 per night for ages 6–16; €1.60 per night for guests 17 and older. Included services: Final cleaning, Wi-Fi, and parking



Check-in is from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
