We would like to introduce our guests to the historic Austragshaus, built in 1714 in Stockheim in the Rhön, and offer it as a place for a relaxing stay. This individually listed historic building features several unique elements of Rhön rural architecture and has been renovated over the past five years in accordance with preservation guidelines and ecological principles. The Austragshaus Rhön is constantly maintained and kept up to date. Here, you can enjoy a truly special holiday experience. Get active in any season in the Rhön or the neighbouring Thuringian Forest (cycling, winter sports, mountain biking, gliding, etc.), enjoy Rhön cuisine and the Franconian wine region, take advantage of the Franconian spa scene, or, or, or —the possibilities for an unforgettable holiday are endless. The outdoor areas feature a large terrace with plenty of patio furniture, a parasol, a grill, an additional seating area in the garden, and a lawn for sunbathing. For our younger guests, a cot, a high chair, and a wooden train set are ready for use. Your holiday at the Austragshaus Rhön is carbon-neutral thanks to pellet heating and green electricity. The house, rated five stars (DTV), comfortably accommodates 2 to 4 people in a large bedroom with a double bed (180x200 cm) and a walk-in closet, as well as a second room with a fold-out bed (up to 160x200 cm). The approximately 85 square metres of living space also includes a bathroom with a bathtub, a second bathroom with a shower, a kitchen-dining-living area with a wood-burning stove, and a living room equipped with a satellite system, a flat-screen TV with Netflix access (guests’ own account), a stereo system, and much more. In the living room, you can light a historic wood-burning stove in addition to the central heating. In the reading corner, you’ll find a large selection of books. From a modern TV to a dishwasher, shared washing machine and dryer, safe, fondue set, iron and ironing board, and oven—everything is available at the Austragshaus Rhön. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM to midnight. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to arrange this, if necessary. Keys are provided via a key safe. You will receive the code in advance of your arrival. A cot or rollaway bed can be provided free of charge upon request. Pets are allowed upon request for a fee of 8.00 EUR per pet per night. A 100% prepayment will be charged upon booking. A security deposit of 150 EUR must be paid in cash upon arrival. The security deposit will be refunded shortly after departure, provided there is no damage.
