A beautiful spot in Puerto Vallarta

Fun location, very convenient to restaurants and shopping, Condo is filled with beautiful artwork, house manager was very helpful and daily housekeeping was wonderful. The space accommodated three couples very comfortably. Overall we had a great time.

Great downtown location

Right I’m the heart of downtown, 5-10 minutes walk to boardwalk. Note no easy beach access. We were greeted with chips, guacamole, and beers! And a free welcome massage!!

Perfect Vacation

Casa Corona Adobe was amazing. Old world charm, perfect location, and the most amazing views in Puerto Vallarta. Tomas made our stay hassle free including providing transportation from the airport, complementary foot massage, fresh guacamole, and margaritas. Thank you again for making our stay priceless. Wonderful Centro Location

Karen’s home is artistically engaging and thoughtfully furnished. Having two bodegas within a couple of blocks was extremely convenient as well as the nightly street taco cart just across Miramar. The home’s design catches the Bay of Banderas breezes naturally cooling all floors. Perfect location for walking to downtown activities especially the beach hugging Malecon, providing easy access to all Puerto Vallarta amenities.

Our week living in the neighborhood.

Our communications with Tomas prior to our trip were responded to quickly. Tomas arranged for transportation from the airport to the villa and met us at the door. We (two couples) enjoyed a week in the neighborhood, experiencing the sights and sounds of PV. Fabi cooked an excellent dinner for us plus two other couples who were also visiting PV and staying in a property on the Malacon. We found the location to be ideal for our visit - walking distance to the River area, the Malacon, convenient markets, and restaurants (we really enjoyed La Cappella, El Campanario, Casa Traditional, and the River Cafe).

An oasis in every way!

What a truly wonderful place: lots of space for me and my three teenagers when we wanted to hang out "at home," and really easy walking when we wanted to eat out, walk along the boardwalk, or even walk to Los Muertos Pier for longer excursions (we took a private snorkeling and beach trip from the pier and saw whales and dolphins). Fabi, the housekeeper, was warm and friendly and gave us plenty of space, and I appreciated Tomas and his willingness to help with transportation. We wouldn't hesitate to return! P.S. A special bit of magic happened each morning around 9 a.m., when the sun shone through the pool to create a vibrant rainbow on the tiles on the lower level of the house.

Exquisite Getaway

From the moment we got off our flight. Karen’s crew made sure we were treated first class all the way. Transportation provided by Tomas to and from airport. Also he had helped us with all excursions and restaurant reservations that we needed. We were a group of eight some staying and going t different times. He made this effortless for all of our crew. Even arranging covid testing for some of our guests. Upon arrival to the house a masseuse was waiting for us for roof top relaxation! Faby was a wonderful chef! She made a wonderful fajita dinner and oh that guacamole and pico...... The house itself is wonderful for a couples or a family with children. Plenty of room for all to hang out eat and just relax and read a book. The pool area is separate from the rooftop two great places to feel the cool ocean breeze.The views are beautiful from the home! This was my 60th bday and what a wonderful time we had. Thank you Karen!

Just what we were looking for!

We have vacationed in Puerto Vallarta many times over the past 20 years, always staying at a villa in Conchas Chinas. For this visit, we decided to try something in the city, walkable to shops and restaurants, hoping for a more "neighborhood" feel. What a perfect choice this was. Beautiful master bedroom with views of the ocean. Well equipped kitchen for most any occasion. The upper floor patio is complete with a full kitchen and some of the most spectacular views in all of Puerto Vallarta; there isn't a better spot to enjoy the sunset here. At lunchtime, my husband would head over to Marisma tacos or Isla de Marin for a seafood salad, which we would enjoy on the patio while we watched for whales in Bandaras Bay (which we saw on numerous occasions). So many nice spots to walk to for dinner, and charming little shops to poke around in during the day. We loved the sounds in the evening....children laughing, roosters, Mexican music from nearby homes. All that, while staying in this beautiful home where the owners have lovingly displayed their collection of charming Mexican folk art. And to top it off, the home is cared for 5 days per week by the sweetest housekeeper, Favi. What's not to love!

We stayed at Casa Corona in February 2026 and had one of our favorite trips to Mexico ever. Located in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta, the home offered the perfect blend of culture, comfort, and adventure. We cannot wait to return, either to the area or back to Casa Corona.The location is excellent. We walked daily to the Malecón boardwalk, exploring restaurants, coffee shops, local bodegas, and endless food options. Every walk felt like a new discovery. Be prepared for hills and steps; good walking shoes are a must, but we found it completely charming. The terrain adds to the authentic experience and immerses you in the local community.The house itself is fun, unique, and full of character. The rooftop was a highlight for us. We loved lounging up there and enjoying rooftop dinners with family. Those evenings created memories we will always treasure.The service made the stay exceptional. Fabi, the housekeeper and chef, was wonderful. She helped with grocery shopping, prepared delicious meals, and was warm and friendly. Tomas, the house manager, coordinated transportation seamlessly and was great to visit with in person.This was truly a memorable vacation. Puerto Vallarta has our hearts, and we are already planning our return.

Paradise

This was our first experience renting a home via VRBO. We weren't really quite sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised every step of the way. The house is magnificent. They have a gardener and housekeeper, as well as the property manager (Tomas) who is the main point of contact. Everything we wanted to do was within a short walk away. The pool on the third level is small but refreshing for sure! Loved every moment of our stay, hope to come back soon!

A Stunning Home in a magical City!

This home is absolutely beautiful. We loved the open air concept and the feel of outdoor living. Colorful, vibrantly decorated with lots of attention to detail, comfortable furniture and all the amenities. The home is in downtown PV so if you’re looking for an authentic cultural experience it’s a great option. Only a 5-10 minute walk to el malecon and lots of delicious restaurants nearby. In the heart of the PV!

My family of eight ranging in age from 2 - 50s thoroughly enoyed our stay at Corona Adobe! What a wonderful experience our family will remember forever with our first of what we hope are many more trips to the lovely historical town of Puerto Vallarta. The house is lovely, the chef kitchen amazing, and we made an early stop to Costco and La Comer for the times when we wanted to whip up a quick family meal. Hats off to Tomas and the fabuloso Fabi for making our stay so enjoyable! For those of an age or condition that may find the uphill treks challenging, there are so many taxis at the bottom of the hill who will carry you up for a very small cost - save your legs as required. It’s a true neighborhood with all the sounds of summer - kids playing outdoors and music playing until late nights - and my grandkids reveled in the merry surroundings and fell sound asleep every night. Wonderful Corona Adobe

As a family of five adults the house was perfect! Plenty of space, comfy beds, close to many neighborhood restaurants and the Malecon. Only drawback if any was that on a few nights the neighborhood was noisy… bring earplugs and close the windows tightly. Enjoy the rooftop deck for the sunsets & whale watching… spectacular!! Tomas the house manager was very helpful with any arrangements we needed & Fabi the housekeeper/cook kept us clean & happy. Wonderful experience thanks to them. Thank you.

Simply Amazing!

The property is unbelievably wonderful. Perfect short distance to downtown restaurants/beach. Views are second to none. Service was fantastic. Beautiful home in interesting part of town

This is a beautiful four story property with an interior courtyard and views of Banderas Bay and downtown Puerto Vallarta. We love this part of town. It’s among the old cobblestone streets in a neighborhood populated by locals and expats. Fabi cooks a wonderful Mexican breakfast with chilaquiles and eggs scrambled with chorizo. Check in was easy with Tomas.

Great Location for Families

Our family of 7 ages 17 to 88 had a great time together laughing, gazing at the Pacific and mostly lounging around Corona Adobe enjoying the space. We liked also being able to drift off to some corner of the house to take a nap or read on comfortable air conditioned rooms or up on the day beds on the terrace. We all love to cook the kitchen is fully stocked with spices oils vinegar's and most everything you need is in the pantry or waiting in the fridge plus the market is 10 min walk down the hill. The location is three blocks to the beach and 5 min walk the central market and the best part of PV the historic romantic zone. We have done the big resort thing and this was so much more enriching for our our young adults who felt safe in the neighborhood and could shop dine swim and explore on their own. My elderly father absolutely loved reading the day away and having cocktails at sunset. He did ask that a hand rail be installed on the outside bottom stair well would have been comforting at his age. I felt the same after 3 drinks myself. Another kind request would be a couple of small beach umbrellas would be welcome shade for the fairer skinned guests....the beach is so nice just down the hill. Compliments to the housekeeper who was very sweet helpful and put our mess away each day leaving a clean fresh house to come back to. Tomas the house manager and concierge is knowledgeable practical helpful and fun to be around to boot. Thanks for everything Tomas the girls dad and I really enjoyed spending time with you during a stressful period with the pandemic rolling out across the world. Hope to you see you again some day.

Best Vacation With Friends

This villa was everything we could ask for and more. There was plenty of space, amazing rooftop views, and so many activities to choose from to do at the house. Tomas was a fantastic help and always responded to my questions before the trip in a timely fashion. He coordinated our transportation and made sure we all had a good time. The logistics were simple and he made sure he took care of us every day. One thing I do want to mention for future renters is that two of the beds are not inside rooms, so if you sleep there be ready with bug spray. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever. I 100% recommend this place to any family or group of friends looking for a great time in PV! Thank you once again Karen and Tomas you guys are amazing!

Amazing house and location

Our family of 6 stayed at Casa Adobe for one week in July. The house is super clean and the location was perfect. There are a couple of neighborhood stores just a half a block away and also some amazing restaurants and the malecon are within walking distance. We used the swimming pool daily. The house is so big and there are so many areas to hang out in. The views are incredible. The bedrooms have AC which came in very handy on the hot, humid days. Fabi, the housekeeper does an excellent job of cleaning the house and making sure everything is just right. We had her cook an enchilada dinner for us one night and it was authentic and delicious. We arranged for Tomas, the house manager to pick us up at the airport. He picked us up and drove us to the house and showed us around. We were greeted with homemade guacamole, salsa, chips, water, cold beer and a mini massage. He even arranged a couple tours for us. He was very timely and professional. We had the best vacation and we cant wait to go back.

Amazing Home, staff and location!

Our family stayed at Corona Adobe for Spring Break 3/23-3/30. Booking the home was a piece of cake. Karen was easy to work with and very helpful and responsive. Tomas the house manager picked us up at the airport. He is so professional and courteous. He helped us schedule excursions, recommended restaurants, took us to Costco, cooked us a yummy Carne Asada dinner on the beautiful top floor of the home that has amazing views of the city and the ocean and he did so much more! Fabi the house cleaner came everyday and deep cleaned! This a big house and she just worked her tail off to keep the house clean and fresh for us. This was a real treat! The house is just gorgeous! Karen did not miss a thing. It is spread out so everyone has space and it’s decorated just perfect. The pool... oh the pool! It’s just perfect! We enjoyed getting in the pool with a cold beer and overlooking the amazing city and ocean. Everything was fabulous! I love the neighbors and the kiddos playing in the neighborhood. This was by far the best experience and would highly recommend anyone to stay here with families or not. Super safe area. We cannot wait to go back! Amazing stay!

The house is more beautiful in person than in the pictures! It was perfect for our large group (it slept 10 of us very comfortably), and we were able to walk everywhere. Would highly recommend getting a home cooked meal from Fabi!

We wanted to be integrated into a real Mexican neighborhood, rather than a resort. We bought this original adobe house in a wonderful neighborhood of El Centro. It's not for everyone as this is a living, breathing neighborhood with roosters, children, street parties, music, and corner bodegas all mixed in with great restaurants, art galleries, and hideaway bars. We spent 18+ months remodeling and rebuilding the house to be a blend of the old and new.
