Perfect accommodation, away from it all

Just returned from a glorious week's stay at the cottage. My wife and I , together with our 12 year old daughter could not recommend the place highly enough. It has been renovated to an excellent standard with plenty of outdoor space. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen. The area is very remote and the use of a car is a must, the local town of Provins (20 mins away) is stunning with all the amenities you'll need. We went to Disney Paris for a couple of days which is a very easy 45 minute drive. This is a definite get away from it all location, exactly what we wanted. The site stated a DVD player and cable TV, neither of which were available and the Wi-Fi is a little slow. None of this was a problem and we just relaxed and read a little more.

Nous avons passé un super week end de Pâques avec un très bon accueil de Alain et Michèle. Lieu très agréable avec l'étang dans lequel nous avons pu pêcher. Provins est vraiment à côté avec des commerces de qualité. Nous reviendrons sans doute en famille. Merci encore à nos hôtes

Très bon séjour chez Alain et Michele . Maison fonctionnelle propre bien décorée juste ’à côté de un étang. Où est-ce que on peut pêcher et faire des balades le matin le soir on est vraiment à la campagne on a beaucoup apprécié l’accueil et la gentillesse des Propriétaire. Merci encore

Sejour agreable ,maison bien equipé et propre. Lac a proximité entretenue . Cependant on a appris durant notre sejour qu' il est interdit de pecher depuis un bateau ou une barque ca serai bien de le preciser dans l'annonce .

Entspannung in der Natur

Wir waren eine Woche dort und haben es sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber Michelle und Alain waren super lieb und hilfsbereit 😊 mit dem Zug ist Paris super easy und günstig zu erreichen und auch die kleinen Städtchen drumherum wie Provins oder auch Troyes sind einen Ausflug wert. Ansonsten kann man dort super abschalten und die Ruhe genießen ☺️

INCROYABLE SEJOUR

Nous avons passé un fabuleux séjour chez Alain et Michèle qui ont été aux petits soins afin de s'assurer que nous passions une semaine parfait. La maison est très fonctionnelle, le domaine est magnifique, idéal pour de longues balades ou du footing. Nous avons également pu faire de belles parties de pétanque et de ping-pong !! Le cadre est idéal pour un week-end en famille ou entre amis. Nous n'avons q'une hâte : revenir.

Nice house in peaceful surroundings not far from medieval Provins.

We had a very good time. The house is cute and has all facilities. The hosts were nice and attentive. The rose garden and lake behind the house are peaceful and great for a stroll. Medieval Provins is near and it is well worth a visit (it is not as well known in the Netherlands as it should be). Fontainebleau is not too far either. We really recommend this place!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour; propriété très bien équipée avec un très bel étang, un beau jardin . Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié les différents jouets et livres mis à disposition, notamment le tir à l'arc, les balançoires, la tyrolienne dans le jardin Très bon accueil de la part du propriétaire. Superb Country Setting

Everything about our stay was perfect, the cottage had everything you could ask for. The hosts were extremely nice and also helpful, though as the cottage was fabulously equipped we had no call to bother them after the meet and greet except to pass on the keys as we left. A lovely garden (equipped with a table and chairs) that leads onto a wonderful lake. Our dog also accompanied us on the 5 night holiday and loved the walk around the lake. A perfect place to unwind. If driving back from Paris I recommend a break at LA TOURELLE 77. 1 Rue de Melun, 77220 Tournan-en-Brie where we had a great meal and a couple of carafes of the house red.

Le logement est calme, confortable et comprend tout le nécessaire (des légumes du jardin et des oeufs frais des poules à proximité ont fait notre premier repas). La fibre optique permet le télétravail avec un très bon débit. Michele et Alain ont fait le maximum pour que nous passions un bon séjour, avec diverses attentions et prenant le temps de nous faire visiter les serres et certains bâtiments anciens de l'exploitation familiale. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alain und Michele sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und stehen immer mit Ideen und Ratschlägen für Unternehmungen und Ausflügen zur Verfügung. Das Grundstück und das Haus sind sehr gepflegt und laden zum Entspannen und Erholen ein. Als leidenschaftliche Angler haben uns leider die Fische im See gefehlt. Es waren nur wenige und kleinere Fische vorhanden. Ansonsten war alles wie beschrieben. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend.

Dopo aver vissuto in diversi paesi, io (americana) e mio marito francese siamo tornati nella casa in cui la sua famiglia ha vissuto per diverse generazioni. I cottage si trovano nella stessa frazione, quindi possiamo dare consigli su cosa fare nella regione o a Parigi.

Mio marito è cresciuto in questo borgo, seguendo le orme del padre, del nonno e prima ancora. La regione di Brie è bellissima; uno dei "panieri" della Francia con i suoi vasti campi di grano, mais, orzo...

In a well kept park with a lake. View on the garden and the private lake. The cottage is only an hour from Paris (by train to avoid driving) and Disneyland. It is also the perfect and quiet spot to discover the "Champagne road" (little villages, good restaurants, caves), many castles (Fontainebleau, Vaux le Vicomte, La Motte Tilly), la Roseraie in Provins...
