Deep in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, in a picturesque valley, lies a small village called Schutz. Our holiday home is located at the western end of this village. The large property is perfect for barbecuing, running around, and having fun. A private adventure tour through the Wallmerbach is also fun for the whole family.
The house has a living area of approximately 150 m² and, with its 3 bedrooms, can accommodate up to 6 people.
The kitchen, dining room, living room, and bathrooms are fully equipped. In addition to a fireplace where you can relax with your favourite drink in the evening, the house also features a large terrace and a spacious property, ideal for families or small groups.
Nearby are several hiking trails and a small mountain with a beautiful view of the entire surrounding area.
In the nearest major town, Daun, you’ll find several shopping options, a truly great cinema, and the “Daun Wildlife and Adventure Park.” The Vulkaneifel offers a wide range of activities, such as cave tours, biking and hiking trails, fishing and swimming spots, maars, a geyser, incredibly beautiful castles and ancient fortresses, jousting tournaments, as well as great events like the Daun Fair or the Eifel Rally, and much, much more.
We would be delighted to offer you a base and a temporary “home” from which to enjoy all these experiences.

Dear guests, our house offers—especially for families—a wonderful escape from the stress of city life. A spacious and open kitchen-dining-living area with a view of the garden lets you keep an eye on everything. The master bedroom on the ground floor is spacious and has room for a cot. Downstairs, there is a half-bath and a separate bathroom with a bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a hike in the woods. Upstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with two single beds—as well as another bathroom with a shower and toilet.
All rooms are fully equipped, and the mattresses are made up. You’ll need to put your own covers on the comforters and pillows.
The TV has a satellite connection; the programming is in German.
Internet access is available; Wi-Fi only.



On-site fees: If you are bringing pets (max. 2), please book them directly online (5 € per pet/day). If this is not possible, please let us know in advance. The guest fee (formerly the visitor’s tax) for the Daun municipal association, amounting to 2.10 EUR per night for guests aged 18 and older, is already included in the total price. You will receive your guest card, along with the associated services and benefits, digitally or directly at the accommodation upon arrival.



Check-in is from 1:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
