Beautiful loft from 1420

A warm welcome to our holiday rental—open since mid-February. We’re the Hertlein family, and we live above you in the beautiful Old Town. Through 2021, we painstakingly renovated the entire house—which dates back to 1420—with a great deal of passion and dedication. The location is perfect for exploring the most beautiful medieval old town, yet it’s also very quiet. In just a two-minute walk, you’ll reach the Plönlein—one of Germany’s most famous landmarks. Just a few steps away, you’ll find the original medieval city wall, and you can walk all the way around the old town on a city wall tour. The lovely Tauber Valley is right on your doorstep, inviting you to relax and go hiking. The apartment comes with a garage that you can use for your car. P.S.: The entire building is insulated with eco-friendly materials (cellulose) and is heated with green electricity from Greenpeace Energy and a heat pump. Nestled in a lovingly renovated house dating back to 1420 is our Bonifaz holiday apartment—a very special place that combines the charm of centuries past with cosy, modern living comfort. As a family, we poured our hearts into renovating this home ourselves—and we’re delighted to now share it with other families. The apartment features an open, light-filled layout—ideal for anyone who prefers a simple, family-friendly atmosphere. At the back of the apartment is our custom-built family bed that sleeps up to four people, gently separated from the living area by exposed historic wooden beams. In addition, a comfortable sleeper sofa in the living area provides space for two more guests. The heart of the apartment is the spacious dining and cooking area: a fully equipped kitchen and a large table—perfect for cooking, playing, and spending time together. All of this spans approximately 54 m², which has been furnished with great care. Outside, there’s a garden with a sandpit, a mud kitchen, toys, and a trampoline—a true paradise for children. And our covered terrace is available to all guests at any time. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the old town—ideal for a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Payment is due in advance via bank transfer. Check-in & Check-out: Check-in times are flexible. Please let us know your estimated arrival time in advance so we can coordinate key pickup. This will either take place in person on-site or via a key left for you—you’ll receive the details well in advance of your arrival. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. Pets are not allowed. Parking fees: 5 EUR per day
