"Schleiparadies" Holiday Home in Ulsnis with a sunroom, fireplace, and sweeping views of orchard meadows - ideal for peaceful getaways surrounded by nature Nestled in the picturesque landscape of the Schlei, surrounded by rolling hills, expansive meadows, and the region’s characteristic hedgerows, lies this charming Danish holiday home—the Schleiparadies in Ulsnis.
The holiday home, which was (partially) renovated in 2025 and features 85 m² of living space, welcomes you with a generously glazed sunroom that offers a magnificent view of nature in every season. There are no neighbouring properties on two sides—instead, two blooming orchard meadows stretch out here. The Apple Blossom Festival takes place here once a year.
From the large sunroom, you enter the spacious living and dining area, whose open layout invites you to linger. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped and offers all the amenities you need for culinary delights. An additional room next to the kitchen can be flexibly used as a separate bedroom, home office, or cosy retreat.
A small hallway leads you to the double bedroom, the single bedroom, and a modern shower room.
On winter evenings, the stylish Danish wood-burning stove creates a cosy and warm atmosphere—perfect after a long walk along the Schlei, just 900 metres away. Electric heaters are also available in the living room, bathroom, bedroom, and children’s room. Please note that there is no central heating system.
The large, lovingly landscaped garden surrounds the house with a natural green setting. Here you can unwind and listen to the birds chirping. Two plum trees provide healthy snacks in the summer. Ulsnis is a place that promises peace and relaxation. Located on Schleidörferstraße, it combines the maritime atmosphere of the port city of Kappeln with the historic royal seat of Schleswig. Whether sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, or a leisurely bike ride—the Schlei offers nearly unlimited possibilities for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. The numerous dirt roads invite you to take long walks or horseback rides. In the surrounding towns, you’ll also find cosy cafés and restaurants that invite you to linger.
