The location of this apartment is superb—near the marina, in a relatively flat area, and about a one\-mile walk to the center of Sorrento. The apartment was spacious for five adults, had a lovely balcony, and the Wi\-Fi worked extremely well.However, several details kept it from being the stay we expected. The listing described two bathrooms with showers, but only one bathroom had a shower, which made a meaningful difference for five adults. Both queen mattresses were extremely hard, the refrigerator buzzed loudly throughout the night and did not reliably make or dispense ice, and only one set of keys was provided.The apartment was also minimally equipped for five guests: limited towels and supplies, few places to hang or dry clothing, only five forks, no steak knives or spatula, too few kitchen towels and trash/recycling bags, and no comfortable indoor communal seating. Several cabinet fronts also came off during ordinary use.I would not discourage others from staying here because the location truly is exceptional and the apartment has tremendous potential. Before booking, I would confirm that the mattresses have been replaced or fitted with quality toppers, the refrigerator has been repaired or replaced, the cabinet fronts are secure, and multiple key sets are available. With clearer advertising and better attention to comfort and practical details, this could easily become an excellent Sorrento stay.
