Si vous aimez compter les toiles d'araignées...

Location totalement scandaleuse à ce prix ; cuisine répugnante aux ustensiles d'un autre âge, lave vaisselle en perdition, fenêtres pas nettoyées, volets disloqués, toiles d'araignées partout. La chaleur écrasante a rendu les nuits quasi insupportables dans des chambres aux odeurs de renfermé Derriere une bibliothèque de cache une salle de bains tout aussi repoussante pour les sales odeurs qu'elle dégage, moins pour son apparence. Mais belle idée davoir choisi un carrelage glissant au moment des travaux... Presque tout est cassé ou pas aux normes électriques dans cette maison, qui ne devrait jamais etre louée. Jamais !

Summer vacation in Bezouce

We really enjoyed our stay in Bezouce. The surroundings are a dream. By car you can reach the beautiful cities of Nimes, Avignon, Arles and Montpellier in no time. You should also plan a trip or two to the hills and gorges of the beautiful Cevennes especially for biking and hiking. If you are a bike enthusiast, you should also plan a trip to the legendary Mont Ventoux, which is also only an hour's drive away by car. The pool is huge and illuminated, which makes it an inviting place to have a drink (Pastis) in the evening. A large supermarket is only 10 minutes away by car and you can walk to the bakery in town. The house is very old, quite large and suffering from signs of age in some corners. If you are looking for a well-maintained and super clean property, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a charming old house with history and can overlook a few shortcomings, you will feel at home soon. The landlord Phillipe is incredibly nice, lives around the corner and comes around at short notice if you have any questions or problems. Six of us (grandma, parents, two children and a friend) stayed in Bezouce for two weeks and we will have fond memories of our summer holiday.

Old, broken and dirty

The overall impression was not good. One bedroom missed a door, and as it is adjacent to the living room, it was not pleasant to sleep. In general, all bedroons missed curtains. Master bedroom has no closet, so your clothes have to stay in your bag. But worst is the kitchen. It is old, greasy, has spiderwebs, and has a very old dishwasher that needs to be guided manual through any program. And it doesn't shut down, so leaving it on whilst away is no option. Safetwise this house is not at all suited for children. All kinds of chemicals are stacked in the kitchen and in the 'hallway', and the entrance is full of tools and other dangerous items. The topfloor, where the table tennis is, has windows on floor level that open easily with danger of falling out. Also here is lots of stuff (loose electrical cables, construction materials etc) that you don't expect in a house that is let. The grounds are in the same condition as the house: not maintained, lots of holes in the ground, tall weed/grass that prevent any activities. Anything good? Sure, the pool is old but good, if you don't mind a open connection to the machine room in a cellar next to the pool. We blocked it with a chair to prevent things/people to fall in. And the internet connection was ok in the living room, but not available in the bedrooms. Overall, this house has a lot of potential, but needs some investments to comply with the fee that we paid for 2 weeks. Current state does not do this at all.

maison délabrée aux allures de château

Très beau mas à l'origine mais mal ou pas rénové. Nombreuses dégradations, le crépis tombe des murs et la peinture des chassis. Renseigné pour 5 chambres alors que seules 3 sont fonctionnelles, les deux autres sont des pièces annexées au salon, sans porte ni intimité, dont un lit très petit dans lequel on ne sait pas s'allonger complètement, et pièce dont on ne sait occulter les fenêtres (les volets sont bloqués par la végétation non entretenue). Chaleur dans les chambres insupportable, pas de climatisation, ni moustiquaires ni ventilateur dans une région où pullulent les moustiques. Pas de tenture. Pas de meuble de rangement dans les chambres. Batterie de cuisine dans un état lamentable, sale et trop usée. 1 seul couteau de cuisine et ciseaux élimés. Aucun produit de base disponible (sel, sac poubelle, herbes). Pas de vrai four. Lave-vaisselle dégradé et qui fuit. Poubelle sale et peu accessible sous évier. Meubles de cuisine très vétustes. Pas de ventilation. Cuisine sale de manière générale. Salles de bain malodorantes, sales, aux pommeaux de douche et régulation de la température de l'eau défaillants. Luminaires défaillants dans presque toutes les pièces. Lire ou jouer en est difficile en soirée. Peu de prises électriques fonctionnelles. Matériel de jardin rouillé, dégradé. Jardin mal entretenu. Longe une voie de chemin de fer non renseignée ainsi qu'un circuit de moto-cross. Belle grande piscine cependant sale et mal entretenue. Très mauvais rapport qualité-prix.
