This small, cosy Swedish cottage, located directly on the lake and featuring its own boat ramp/slipway, comes equipped with a motorboat. The boat is included in the price; only a security deposit of €500 is required.

This holiday home invites you to enjoy a family-friendly relaxing and fishing holiday in the very special idyll of Sweden.

The two docks on the property offer direct access to the water and are perfect for swimming, relaxing, fishing, and boating.

The house is located on a large peninsula right on the shore of Lake Ullvettern in a small, quiet summer cottage community in Bjurtjärn/Storfors.

Dogs (max. 2) are welcome; the property is fenced (except on the lake side) and offers about 1,500 square metres of space for them to run around.

The house, with its typical Swedish charm, features a living room with a cosy sofa bed for 2 people and a bedroom with 2 single beds.

The kitchen with dining area is very practical and well-equipped:

A shower room with a sink is located inside the house (hot water available); the composting toilet is accessible in a small cottage right next to the house. A washing machine is located in a separate laundry room.

An adjoining south-facing terrace offers a comfortably furnished seating area for relaxing. The fabulous lake view from here can be enjoyed to the fullest from sunrise to sunset.

A charcoal grill is available, and there is another cosy seating area across from the dock.

A security deposit of 500,- € is required; there are no additional utility charges. In Sweden, it is customary to return the house as clean as you found it. However, if you don’t feel like cleaning during your holiday, you can pay a flat cleaning fee of 80,- €.

Upon request, a laundry package for the duration of your stay can be rented for 15 per person (this includes per person: 2 hand towels, 1 bath towel, and bedding with sheets, washcloths, tea towels, pot holders, cleaning cloths, and sponges).


Bjurtjärn is located in the municipality of Storsfors, approximately 28 km from Karlskoga, approximately 30 km from Kristinehamn on Lake Vänern, and 37 km from Filipstad. Karlstadt is about 70 km away, and Örebro is about 65 km away.
