The building was constructed around the 17th century and features transformations and extensions made in the last century by Count Rizzolino degli Azzoni Avogadro. The villa stands on the ruins of an ancient castle formed by three towers arranged in a triangle and connected by a large crenellated wall. Inside the first walls, there were two roads with solid shelters leading to the top of the hill, where the keep was located. The tower was called “crossroads,” which gave the name Bivai.
