Zum Böhmen welcomes you to a lovingly restored estate on the quiet outskirts of Bad Langensalza. This historic, listed building, steeped in history, invites you to relax—surrounded by ponds and mature trees, just five minutes from the centre of the spa town.

The Zum Böhmen estate once belonged to Homburg Abbey, which was consecrated by Charlemagne in the year 800. The Zum Böhmen estate was used by the monks as a farmstead.

Later, starting in 1829, the historic estate was operated as a tourist destination with a restaurant. Following the expansion and renovations carried out between 1890 and 1895, the affectionately named “Böhmenhaus” took on its current form.

In 1906, further renovations were carried out, and the house was once again operated as a restaurant. Unfortunately, it fell into disrepair starting in 1985.

With great dedication and care, the Böhmenhaus was completely renovated between 2018 and 2024 and now shines in all its glory.
