Avendorf is located about 2 km northeast of the Fehmarnsund Bridge, just a 20-minute walk (or a few minutes by bike) from the white natural beach on the Fehmarnsund.

The island’s capital, Burg, is about 5 km away—perfect for strolling, shopping, and culinary excursions.
