Ask a questionAbout Ross and Norma Nickerson
We purchased the land in 1984, camped on it periodically until 2004 then decided to build the log home. We are both teachers and have been living in Montana since 1995. We love Montana and think our home on the Yellowstone River in the Paradise Valley is the best possible get-away in the world. We love the outdoors, wildlife, and scenic views!
Ross and Norma Nickerson purchased this house in 2005
Why Ross and Norma Nickerson chose Pray
It is so close to Yellowstone, why not this property! Plus, the views are amazing. Our favorite thing to do in the evening is to sit in the living area, turn off all the lights, and gaze at the brilliant stars out the catherdal windows. There's so much to do during the day and it's relaxing by night.
What makes this house unique
The Yellowstone River is ever-changing...each season brings a new look, more rocks to overturn and admire, and different fishing holes. The catheral windows look southwest to the high mountain peaks of the northern edge of Yellowstone National Park. The deer roam around the house and down by the river. People raft by in the summer either fishing or simply enjoying a warm day. Most importantly to us, it is only 20 miles from the northeast entrance of Yellowstone which gives us plently to see and do every day!
