Everything was perfect. The home is well equipped and so charming. The hospitality of the staff is superb. We loved our breakfasts everyday and Mostapha was quick to help with arrangements or suggestions as needed. The location of the dar is perfect. Being near the Parking Bab Taghzout lot meant we had an easy place for drivers to pick us up for excursions outside the city. Everything else was walkable, although taxis are plentiful nearby.

Wonderful riad, great location!

We enjoyed our time as this wonderful riad. The hosts were communicative and friendly. The meals were incredible, the best food we had on a 20 day trip through Morocco! The roof top patio was gorgeous.

Stunning Very Clean with a super roof top area that has a hot tub and sitting area with a table.

i had a wonderful holiday with my family. the riad was stunning.clean and very clean. Our housekeeper/chef was so friendly and the meals she prepared for us were gorgeous. and served up in such beautiful designs. we all had an amazing time in Marrakech and will not hesitate to recommend the riad to friends.

Fabulous Riad with home cooked meals and personalized assistance from taxis to camel rides

Riad is beautifully maintained and the support staff speaks multiple languages, and was wonderfully helpful in making recommendations. Dinners were really amazing, and I'd highly recommend including them! Riad is walkable to most sites loke Secret Garden, plaza, historical sites. 5 star experience!

Wonderful stay!

Communication was great - prompt replies. I messed up my arrival time and they were quick to accomdate. Moustapha was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Zahia is a sweet lady and an amazing cook. The location was good - we could walk to everything. Cabs are easily accessible on the corner if you needed it. I would definitely recommend!

Lovely property - Mostapha and Zekia ( manager & cook) we’re fabulous- took care of our every need- a convenient location in that the taxi could drive into Medina and the a short walk to the Riad. The food provided was plentiful and they dealt with all my food allergies so I could have proper nutrition. We all loved it here !!

Great Place in Marrakrch

What made this property really special was Zakia (wonderful cook) and Mostapha (property manager). Both were friendly, helpful - couldn't do enough for us. Riad is well appointed (lots of stairs), clean and comfortable. Location in the Medina within easy walking distance of souks, and attractions. Highly recommended.

A Wonderful Riad Experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed being able to experience a lovely Riad in a quiet neighborhood which was also quite accessible to the Medina. Mostapha could not have been more helpful. So willing with a great smile on his face to help us with logistics, organizing tours and giving very helpful advice. Zakia is a wonderful cook and we thoroughly enjoyed our authentic Moroccan dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everyone we interacted with were absolute all stars and would gladly stay again!

What a wonderful Riad

We - two families with a bunch of teenagers - stayed at this wonderful Riad for the second time already. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The eating room is a bit small but it's not a real problem. The view from the roof terrace over the city and to the snow covered mountains of the High Atlas is just great. The service of Mostopha, who is really a sympathetic guy was very helpful. We enjoyed the cooking, breakfast service and kindness of Zakia. She was even able to provide nongluten food. From the Riad to the Djemna-al-Fna it's a twenty minute walk through the winding streets of the medina.

Beautiful Riad with amazing service

We have had a Wonderful stay at the Riad. It is in a great location and the building itself inside is absolutely gorgeous. Everything has been designed to reflect the Morrocan artisan style. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.Booking and communication with Philippe the owner was excellent. However the best part of Riad Essattatia is the housekeeper Khadija. She is an absolute treasure. She utterly spoiled us and the children. She has a wonderfully sense of humour and we wish we had her company all the time. Mustapha went out of his way to get us there and make us feel safe and settled. He is such a asset to the Riad also. We would love to return and would thoroughly recommend the Riad for families with children. Thank you Khadija, Mustapha and Phillipe

Great Moroccan experience

Our family of 4 adults & 2 children ages 2 & 4 had a wonderful stay at Dar Essattatia. The owner, Philippe, was responsive to all our questions & helpful with all the information we needed. The Riad was comfortable and the many rooms had lovely touches. It's located on a quiet street in the Bab Taghzout neighborhood in the Medina w/ easy access to taxis. The souks are an easy walk & so is the Jema el Fna. The manager, Mostapha, met us at the airport & took us to the riad. He was a valuable source of information & suggestions & greeted us every morning to help w/ any arrangements we needed. Khadijah prepared our delicious breakfasts & on request served us fantastic dinners. She shopped for fresh foods each day & spent hours preparing these traditional Moroccan meals. She also took care of all the housekeeping duties & kept the riad spotless. Both she & Mostapha were great w/ the children & we all felt like we made two new friends. We would highly recommend this riad for a great Marrakech experience.

Que dire de cette semaine passée au riad DAR ESSATTATIA que du bonheur du début à la fin.Avant de partir Philippe nous a communiqué un descriptif comme nous ne l'avions jamais eu avant lors de nos précédentes réservations.Il n'y a pas de mauvaise surprise .L'accueil de mostapha est tres pro de l'aéroport au riad et que dire de sa disponibilité...il passe tous les matins pour nous conseiller et prendre de nos nouvelles .Ensuite nous conseillons à tout le monde les repas de Zakia qui sont juste divin . Si vous voulez sejourné à MARRAKECH , une seule adresse celle-çi....ce n'est que du bonheur!!!!Un grand merci pour votre gentillesse et votre disponibilité.

Excellent RIAD en toute confiance

De la réservation et jusqu'àu départ du RIAD, nous avons été surpris de la qualité des contacts, des conseils apportés en amont du séjour, de l'excellente qualité du RIAD conforme en tous points à la description sur Abritel et surtout de l'accueil, de l'accompagnement de Mustapha et la cuisine parfaite de Zakia. Ce qui nous a permis de vivre un vrai séjour détendu entre amis dans l'ambiance de Marrakech.

très joli riad au coeur de la Médina

Nous avons passé 3 jours formidables à Dar Essattatia, la situation géographique est idéale dans la médina, dans un quartier très sympa, permettant de faire de nombreuses visites et l'ensemble des souks à pied. Les meilleures épices sont vendues chez Saïd à 20m du Riad, juste incroyables et bien moins chères que dans le souk. Mostapha a fait en sorte de nous renseigner sur nos excursions, vraiment aux petits soins.. La cuisine de Zakia était délicieuse, tout était parfait! Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter du spa mais les fins de soirée sur la terrasse étaient très agréables avec de jolies lumières, nous avons vraiment passé un très bon séjour et recommandons totalement ce Riad. Riad ideal pour une famille

Accueil très chaleureux et très professionnel de Mostapha, sur lequel on peut compter à tous moments. Notre cuisinière Zakia est adorable et un vrai cordon bleu. On est bien dans ce riad au calme où l'on se sent comme chez soi. De plus, la décoration est typique. Malgré les soirées et matinées assez froides, nous avons toujours eu chaud dans les chambres et les salons. La terrasse est très agréable et le jaccuzi a fait le bonheur des enfants. Une excellente adresse, et des partenaires sérieux, pour un séjour très agréable sans mauvaises surprises.
