Wendseeblick vacation home – relaxation on 2300 m² directly on Lake Wendsee

Welcome to the Wendseeblick vacation home in the Brandenburg district of Plaue—right on the idyllic Wendsee lake.


Our modern vacation home can accommodate up to four people.


The 2300 m² waterfront property with direct lake access offers plenty of space for relaxation in every season—nature and tranquility begin right outside the front door.


Do you enjoy water sports or fishing? Feel free to bring your SUP, kayak, canoe, or fishing rod. Quiet forest trails are within walking distance, and this is also the perfect place for long bike rides. 


Our vacation home is available to you all year round. Every season has its own special charm. Whether summer, fall, spring, or winter—relax in the sun or in our heated house when it's cold and snowing.



Our vacation home:


Each bedroom has a closet for your belongings. The living room has a flat-screen TV, an internet radio, and some books that you are welcome to read.


The kitchen is well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. The large refrigerator with a large freezer compartment offers enough space for your groceries. In addition to an oven, an induction stove, and a dishwasher, you will find a toaster, a kettle, a Senseo pad machine, and an additional filter coffee machine. There are several pots, pans, and sufficient crockery/cutlery and glasses.


The house is heated by its own gas boiler. You can adjust the room temperature individually in each room. 


You can completely darken every room in the house with the external blinds if you want to sleep in. 


Bed linen and towels are included in the price and are provided fresh. There are no extra charges for water and electricity consumption – this is also included in the rental price (except for charging electric cars on the property).


From mid-January 2026, Wi-Fi (via Starlink) will also be available in our house.



Plaue an der Havel – nature, water, and history right on your doorstep:


Our accommodation is located in idyllic Plaue an der Havel, a charming district of Brandenburg an der Havel. Surrounded by water, forests, and expansive nature, Plaue is the ideal place for anyone looking for peace and quiet while also wanting to be active.


The Havel River and Lake Wendsee characterize the townscape and invite you to swim, paddle, SUP, fish, or simply relax by the water. Beautiful cycling and hiking trails lead directly from the town through the varied Havel landscape. The historic town center with the Plauer Church, Plauer Castle with its castle gardens, and the old lock are also worth a stroll.



Brandenburg an der Havel – living history & maritime flair:


Just a few kilometers away lies the more than 1,000-year-old city of Brandenburg an der Havel. The city captivates visitors with its impressive history, historic old town, St. Peter and Paul Cathedral, medieval streets, and numerous museums and cultural attractions.


Brandenburg an der Havel is also considered one of the most water-rich cities in Germany. Whether it's a boat tour, a stroll through the city center, cozy restaurants by the water, or a visit to the theater—every guest will find something to suit their taste here.

Whether active water sports, relaxing nature experiences, cultural discoveries, or simply a break from everyday life – Plaue and Brandenburg an der Havel offer a wide range of opportunities for a relaxing and varied stay. In our vacation home, we have put together a selection of brochures and information materials for you so that you can plan your excursions in the beautiful surroundings.



Shopping & restaurants:


In Plaue, you can walk to a REWE supermarket with an integrated bakery. There are also two Netto supermarkets and a Norma branch in the immediate vicinity. There is also a gas station in the immediate vicinity of our vacation home.


The “Kneipe Pur” pub with its own brewery is very popular – definitely one of our recommendations. Please note, however, that it is only open one day a week. You can also walk to a Greek restaurant.



You have the entire house and the approx. 2300 m² property at your sole disposal. Only one room and the attic are locked, as we store private items there.


As we, the hosts, do not live in the house or on the property, you can enjoy your stay completely undisturbed.


The “Wendseeblick” vacation home is rented exclusively to you—there will be no other guests on site during your stay.


You can park your cars, motorcycles, canoes, kayaks/SUPs, or bicycles directly on the fully fenced property.

Our property borders on neighboring properties. Parties, bachelor parties, and celebrations are expressly not permitted in order to protect our neighborhood.


Furthermore, campfires and other open fires are unfortunately not allowed on the property.
