Experience the idyllic tranquility of the picturesque Nebel Valley in Kuchelmiß, where a lovingly restored former stable building —formerly used as a carriage house and riding stable—now offers cosy holiday apartments. Located directly on the A19, this offers you the unique opportunity to stay in a piece of history, even though the original castle is unfortunately no longer standing.

The holiday apartment on the ground floor is perfectly equipped for your self-catering holiday. An open-concept kitchen-living area with a fridge-freezer, coffee maker, stove, oven, and microwave invites you to cook together and relax. In the living area, a TV provides entertainment, and a sofa bed offers additional sleeping space. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed and a closet, while the bathroom with shower and toilet leaves nothing to be desired.

Outside, all guests have access to a shared garden with a grill, seating, and a fire pit. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy social evenings, or let the kids run wild and have a blast. This spacious garden is part of the property, which also features additional holiday apartments, double rooms, and even an event hall that can be booked as needed.

The surrounding area offers far more than just the immediate natural idyll. The building is located directly on the Nebel River, in close proximity to a historic watermill. The Nebel Valley, as well as the entire Mecklenburg Lake District—of which Kuchelmiß is a part—invite you to enjoy long bike rides and hikes, swimming excursions, and boat trips. Explore the wide range of recreational activities, such as a nearby golf course, bowling alleys, observation towers, and the Güstrow water park. During the season, we also offer cakes and pies on request at our on-site café, as well as products made from alpaca wool and fresh eggs from the farm.
