Opfikon-Glattpark is one of Greater Zurich’s most modern and vibrant areas—cosmopolitan, well-connected, and surprisingly green. Right outside the front door flows the Glatt River, with peaceful walking and biking paths stretching in both directions. It’s the kind of area where you can grab a coffee, go for a jog along the river, and be at Zurich Airport or the city centre in just a few minutes.

Supermarkets are all within easy reach—Migros, Coop, and Denner are just a short walk away, and a Migrolino is open daily, including Sundays. A Coop Vitality pharmacy is located on Boulevard Lilienthal for any essentials.

When it comes to dining out, the area has something for everyone. Luigia Opfikon serves excellent pizza, Al Dente is beloved for its pasta, and the Raclette Factory is a must for a true Swiss experience. Buy tickets at the ticket machine at the tram stop or download the ZVV app. A 24-hour day pass offers excellent value if you plan to explore the city. PubliBike rental stations are available 24/7 in the area for easy cycling. By car, the A1 and A51 highways are both just minutes away.
