Shalom Haven is located on a 4 acre property in beautiful Lancaster County. A perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Plenty of room to roam around, play outdoor games, enjoy God's creation, or simply to sit and enjoy the beauty! A garage to park your vehicle. Inside the house, a spacious kitchen with everything you need to make cooking easy. A dining room with table and chairs. Living room with a comfy couch and cable tv. Beautiful sun room with table and chairs an air hockey, ping pong table and foldout couch with heat and air conditioning. Toy corner with toys and books. Laundry room with washer and dryer, laundry soap provided. Master bedroom with queen bed and bathroom with a garden tub and a shower. 2 bedrooms one with queen amd the other with double bed. bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower. Towels and bedding provided. Also have a air mattress and pack n play.
Sight and Sound theater, Strasburg Railroad, Dutch Wonderland,& lots of shopping about a 15-20 minute drive from the house.

Home away from home

This is our 3rd year staying at Mamaws Cabin. We look forward to going back every year. Allison is an amazing host and we would recommend her cabin to anyone. The location and property is so serene!

Perfect for families with children! We were 4 adults, and had a wonderful time, but would definitely recommend to anyone with children. Lots of toys, books, and games available. Great setup in sunroom. Nice kitchen. Beds very comfortable and house was very clean. Great communication with our hosts ….. very quick to respond! Five stars!

Nice Quiet Getaway

Great, spacious, warm house. Excellent amenities and comfortable beds and couch. GREAT bath tub. I would definitely rent again if I was in the area.

Beautiful home

Very nice, clean home in quiet setting but close to lots of major attractions, shopping and dining. Awesome host providing timely communication throughout our stay. Highly recommend booking this house!

Wonderful Winter Gathering

Esther was a wonderful host! There was an inclement snow storm and she made sure that we had arrived safely. She made sure that we had everything we needed and was available for questions. I would definitely book this wonderful home again.

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway

Our stay was very relaxing and had all of the amenities that we wanted for a family getaway. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner and had all of the kitchen gadgets that I needed without having to bring a single thing from home. The views were amazing, and we had a blast making s’mores and exploring the outdoors. We will definitely return!

Lovely Home in Quarryville

My girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely home very much! It was clean, spacious, plenty of various games available to play and close to the outlets in Lancaster and the Sight & Sound Theater. We have rented several homes over the years for our getaway weekends and this is one of our favorite ones so far. Owner was very responsive to our questions / emails.

Spacious and quiet

We were in the area for a wedding and the house was perfect for us and was even bigger then we expected from the photos. There was snacks and a note to welcome us. The house was very clean and well stocked.

Perfect quiet getaway

We enjoyed a lovely stay. The home was tucked up on a hill, quiet, a perfect place to have a restful getaway. The home was lovely, clean and the hosts seemed very sweet and accommodating. We no longer have young children but there is plenty at the home to keep kiddos happy and busy inside and out. Highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Perfect family home!

This is a beautiful property and great family space. Esther is so kind and great at communicating. The home is so spacious and filled with all the amenities you could need. There are so many games and toys for kids- it was such a nice surprise. All of our activites were only about 15 min away. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Esther was amazing and very responsive with any and all questions. We went to see a show at Sights and Sounds. There were seven of us who stayed in the home and it was plenty of space for us all. Our fur babies stayed with us too. We will definitely be staying here again for any future shows we go see.

Delightful country getaway

My family stayed in this rental as we had a wedding in the area. It was PERFECT! Clean, stocked, and user friendly. Communication with the host was seamless. It was also very nicely situated. Close enough to attractions that it wasn't a stretch to go exploring, but far enough away to get that country feel. If you're looking at this property and it's available on your dates BOOK IT!!

The house was very clean and had everything we would need already stocked up. Esther is so nice and works with you she is amazing. The game room was cool it had a air hockey table and ping pong table it was fun for us to play! I recommend anyone to stay here 10/10.

Cozy Countryside Setting

We had a lovely three day stay at this comfortable, cozy property. It was close to the attractions yet quiet in the countryside. It was also very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked even with a basket of snacks. Esther was prompt in replying to our questions while there. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to the Lancaster area. Thank you

Second Stay

This is the second time we have stayed here! It’s the perfect size for our family and we were able to bring our dogs. The house is always super clean and has everything we need. Esther is the most gracious host and had some sweet treats and snacks laid out. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas so we really enjoyed that special touch. We saw a show at Sights and Sounds which was very easy getting there from the house. It’s a great location, space, and peacefulness. Thank you for letting us stay here again.

Dutch Wonderland Homebase

We had a lovely time at this house. It was close enough to Dutch Wonderland that we didn’t feel like we had a long drive, but it was far enough away to enjoy amish country. Our kid immediately ran for the toys when we got inside - such a real treat to have options! Owner was prompt and kind. House was clean and neat. Loved having a yard to play outside. Thanks for the wonderful opportunity to experience a different neck of the woods!

Beautiful house/Kid Friendly

We had a wonderful stay here. It was close to everything to do, yet far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness of the Amish farms. Loves listening to the horse and buggy’s going by. The house was clean and had a bunch of kids toys which we loved. House was exactly as described. Esther was a great host and texted us to make sure our stay was going well and suggested things to do in the area. The kids have already requested we stay here again next year. The wifi was spotty here so we weren’t really able to watch tv or a movie but that’s not what we were there for so we didn’t mind much.

Wedding Weekend

We stayed at the house November 17 to 19. It was nice. spacious. and clean!! This house is Kid friendly. There are plenty of board games and toys in the house. Booking this home and check in was a breeze. The owners respond to emails pretty quickly. One bonus is that you don't have to bring your own linens and towels. We went to a wedding at Osbornia Farm and it was only 12/15 minutes away. Right up the street is a shopping center with a Giant Grocery store, Burger King, Goods Store and a Turkey Hill. I would highly recommend this house.
