Private Beachfront Condo With Splendid Ocean Views

This is a 2nd Floor Condo, located at Sangria, a beach front resort on beautiful South Padre Island. Sangria is one of the original properties on the island. It is a small 40 unit complex that is well maintained and beautifully landscaped.

The unit has been recently remodeled and is bright and airy with all the necessities to make you comfortable. Great care has been taken to create a superb beach get away, with all the best amenities and special touches of decor.

This is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo that sleeps 4-6. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a private bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds. Cots are available to accommodate additional guests. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining table. Free wifi is available in the unit. There is a private patio to enjoy amazing ocean views. You are just steps from the beach, swimming pool and laundry/office.

Linens and towels are in the unit and maid services are available for longer stays. Any questions can be answered by the on site manager who is available during office hours.

Great time at Sangria

From check in to check out the Sangria was a pleasure to visit. Right on the beach. The site manager was very helpful and friendly from the beginning and through checkout. Will stay there again when returning to SPI.

Perfect Stay for South Padre!

We loved our stay at Sangria! This is our second stay at the property, but our first in this condo. The condo is clean, up-to-date, and very comfortable. Perfect for our family of 3.

Great Condo

Great condo! Everything was just as they said on VRBO. We loved the interior décor. The very clean kitchen met all our needs. Well kept property. Nicely decorated. Clean and comfortable funiture. Our group of 6 had plenty of room. Lots of towels. Grounds were well kept. The pool was cleaned every morning. King mattress comfortable. We used the beach chairs in the kitchen closet. They were a very nice extra. All around a great place to stay. We'll come back here again!

Long Weekend on SPI

The last time I was on SPI was 1979, and that was one of my Spring Breaks. That tells you how old I am. ;-) This was a walk down memory lane + a long weekend by salt water. A long weekend was NOT enough time, I could have easily stayed a whole week, maybe more. Loved the Sangria property, such a great location and beautiful view.

Very nice!

My wife and I were impressed with the accommodations. Hot tub and pool were also nice. The provided ice and filtered water were appreciated. It’s refreshing to stay at in a smaller building without so many people around. All the staff we interacted with were very pleasant, especially the maintenance guy (Gilbert) and pumpkin! The weather was cold, but that’s a risk you take in early March. We will be back.

Cute Spot

Cute spot for our weekend getaway, close to the beach and with gated off-street parking. The property manager Gina was quick to help us with finding the cot and sheets at check-in. Grounds staff are friendly too. It’s especially nice that it is not a typical high rise building.

Spectacular Views

I can't say enough good things about this property! From the check in to the check out every thing was great! The condo itself is well laid out, beds comfortable, all the kitchen tools you need to cook a meal. The pool is nice and pretty quiet for the most part and there are plenty of pool toys. The best part for me was the beach, of course, and when we weren't down there we had these amazing views from our balcony. A great place to enjoy morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. Our host, Chad, was very responsive and Gina, the property manager, was just great, answering all our questions and just being very helpful. We loved our stay and yes, we will come back to the Sangria!

Nice but outdated

Inside of condo was clean and nice . Bathrooms and kitchen really need updating and very borderline. Proximity to the beach was awesome ! Back of the property was really nice . There is a reason the front of the property is not in any advertisement pics lol !! Very outdated and sketchy looking . Pool was nice for kids and staff was very friendly .

Great spot for beach fun

We loved the close proximity this place was to the beach. The king size bed was comfortable, the TV was a nice big size, and we had a decent view of the beach from the balcony. We will be coming back here the next time we are in South Padre!

Hidden Gem

We had a short 3-nt stay. Unit was exactly as pictured. Condos are off strip, and on the beach so it was nice not to be right on the strip during Spring Break! We had 3 other families with us renting other units in the same complex and we found our unit to be the best! It was perfect for our family of 5. We loved the extra cots provided. Thank you!!

Great quick getaway

Our stay was great. The unit was clean and well stocked. CVS is just around the corner for any miner things needed. They had beach chairs and boogie board and a skin board for kids to use. Everyone on-site from office personal to building maintenance person are so nice

Absolutely perfect - great host & property management!

There is not a better setup on the whole of South Padre! Seemingly a private beach for just a few.... beautiful palms framing the ocean view from your balcony. The property manager and on-site staff could not have been friendlier. Everything was perfect, we will be back!

Great location and comfortable condo

We really enjoyed our first stay in South Padre and this condo was a big part of that. It was in a great location and the balcony couldn't have been better. It is in a small, older complex but it had plenty of charm and was very clean. We would stay there again!

First Visit to SPI

The property is accurately described and the few pics do reflect what you will find upon arrival. Communication was prompt and professional with staff. Observations based on other rentals and the expectation based on the price paid: -In other comments it is mentioned the stove needs replacement and I agree. Other small kitchen appliances also appear to have been there for quite sometime. The chair in the living room could use a cleaning as the light color shows some dirty spots, particularly on the arm rests. Bathroom Towels were pretty old and definitely not white anymore. The shower drain in the hallway was very slow to drain and both bathrooms were small; overall, the unit felt too small for 6 adults. Again, service was superb and the pics you see are accurate but for the price paid, the expectation was a more updated property. We travel every year to either Ft. Walton Beach or Perdido Key and stay at rentals. Every single rental we have stayed at was larger and more modern with washer/dryer in the unit. It was our first time in the area so perhaps the experience does differ from the places already mentioned. The view (which is the reason I was drawn to this particularly property) was amazing.

Perfect location on South Padre

The condo is in a quiet place on the island. We arrived and the manager was helpful offering to help us with anything we needed. The pool was nice after a day at the beach. The kitchen is well stocked. Laundry is downstairs, not in the condo. Also water tastes like sulfur so bring bottled water. Overall we enjoyed a quiet stay

Easy access to beach/great view

I finished writing a book here and was super-productive. Cooked every meal (the kitchen is actually stocked) and slept like a rock. Will be back!
