About this property

Gîte les visiteurs du soir – Architect-Designed House

We offer you this cozy, brand-new guesthouse located next to our home. A garage and workshop separate us, so you’ll have complete privacy, though we’re nearby if you need anything. The gîte features a bedroom with a 140 cm bed, plus a futon sofa in the living room for two extra guests. The interior is decorated in a 1970s style with quality furniture, including P. Paulin mushroom chairs, original wall paintings, and designer pieces. The name of the gîte is a nod to M. Carné’s film, as we live on Rue de l’Enfer—but in this story, love wins in the end!



You’ll enjoy a private terrace and access to the garden, as well as a reserved parking space on the property with a separate gate. We’re close to the A150 motorway: 20 minutes from Rouen, 40 minutes from the Normandy coast, 2 hours from Paris, and just 5 minutes from a contemporary art center. On arrival, you’ll be welcomed with homemade fresh bread and other local or exotic treats. If you wish, we can also prepare a dinner for you to enjoy in your gîte—available on request.

Pros: Wir waren im September ein paar Tage in diesem schönen, modern eingerichteten, komplett ausgestattet Ferienhaus mit Terasse und großem Garten. Es liegt in der Nähe von Rouen aber auch Dieppe, Étretat, Le Havre oder Caen sind gut zu erreichen. Ebenso die zahlreichen Schlösser und Abteien der Normandie. Die Gastgeber Patricia und Walter sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Wir haben bei ihnen am Ankunftstag ein vorzügliches Abendessen bestellt das schon auf uns wartete. Patricia ist eine leidenschaftliche Köchin und wir können nur empfehlen dieses Angebot zu nutzen! Es war Alles vorhanden. Vom Wein über Brot, Paté, Marmelade bis zum Käse! Sehr angenehm da man so nicht nach der Ankunft erst mal in den Supermarkt fahren muss um gestresst Lebensmittel einzukaufen. Das Vorrätige reicht locker für 2-3 Tage! Wir können das Ferienhaus nur empfehlen, 10 von 10 Punke! Vielen Dank Patricia und Walter!
