Stunning Lake Michigan Home 'Bel Lago'

Large, modern, open concept. Custom built home on the shores of Lake Michigan. Steps to your own beach access directly to the lake out your front door. Professional gourmet kitchen/pantry. Wolf stove. Your own private herb garden for snipping fresh herbs. Designer furnishings and exceptional Art work throughout the home. Internet, laundry. Large Deck, gas and charcoal grill. Screened in porch with table seating for 6 and swing. Numerous board games. Wood floors, pool table, 2 baby grand pianos, gas fireplace. If you would like (for a fee) … you can have a live in superintendent in the downstairs to help with the house, cooking, groceries. etc. House has been featured in numerous magazines. Renting to small groups of professional people only. No more than six.
No smoking, no pets, sorry. There is a large open loft, open staircases, and a steep walk to the beach which could be dangerous for small children which is why it is not safe for small children.
House has bikes, beach chairs some water toys and hammock. Bonfires allowed on beach.
There is a large master bedroom with a queen bed and private bath and TV.
3 Bedrooms are king size bed, queen size bed, two twin beds. There is also a full size swinging bed upstairs in the loft area and two full size bunks in the game room. Located in the town of Manistee which has wonderful restaurants, a historical movie theater and live summer theater. Many outdoor free concerts. Hospital, RX, 2 large grocery stores, Meijers and a charming downtown with excellent shopping.(kitchen store, wine store, dress shops) Excellent golfing (Arcadia Bluffs). If you are a small group 1-6 who would love to rent this stunning one of a kind home check out the dates that are available. Our home is not small child or pet friendly. We have open high lofts and high decks and stairs to the beach that are not safe for little ones. Our home has a manager and housekeeper on call.

Charming with fantastic view

Lovely home has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Amenities are like your own home. Beautiful decks and well taken care of plants and flowers. Wonderful view of the lake from the home with a great beach steps away. Close to town and shopping. Second time here and highly recommend.

Lake Michigan Gem

My family stayed at Bel Lago for a third visit. It was just as pleasurable as the first two and we will be back! Great location on the lake, fantastic house and terrific owners. Easy drive to Great Bear Dunes and Traverse City. Can't wait to visit again!!!

Beautiful home

My dream for years has been a getaway from suburbia to a private beach overlooking the water. This home checked every box and more! Kat was both friendly and professional and went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay, and we are very appreciative to work with her. The finishings of the home are high end and custom with a lot of unique features. There is plenty of deck space, outdoor grill and seating area for BBQ. Lake MI views are stunning! I would recommend this property.

Amazing Week!

Stunning views of Lake Michigan. Wonderful beach for our young kids that was very private. Owner (Kat & Don) were extremely responsive and answered every request promptly and accurately. The house was immaculate with space for our family of four and two weekend guests. Wonderful kitchen that had every tool needed for both grilling out and cooking in. We did not get out much to see the area because the house was just too nice to leave!!!! Everything was as advertised and I would highly recommend the Bel Lago!

wonderful Week

Our family had a wonderful time at Bel Lago. The home is in 5star shape inside and out. The renters only rent a few weeks each summer so house does not have that "rented" feel at all. We will be back.

We chose to build on Lk Michigan for privacy and the beauty of the area.

What makes this property unique

Our house was designed by me and built by a local architect in Manistee. It is filled with art from our travels. The design is based on the bow of a ship. The home comes to a point with all facing the Lk. Copper walls, a cooking panty and stunning deck choices all add to the charm of this home. Designer furnishings, plush mattresses with luxury linens add to your stay. We pride ourselves in choosing renters that are a perfect fit for our home and we only rent about 2 weeks per season. We will ask to speak to you before agreeing to rent. Thanking you in advance.
