This explanation may help since Honua Kai can be confusing. The construction of the Luana Townhouses is 100% complete, Honua Kai is now 700 individually owned condominiums that belong to a Homeowners Association. Honua Kai is not a hotel. Every owner chooses to either use the onsite management which is now Outrigger or they choose an outside rental company (ORC). Outrigger is not the "Resort" they're just the onsite managment company. Now they own the front desk area and some other areas at Honua Kai, but all guests have access to the pools, restaurant, stores, Spa, fitness center and concierge
Please take a look at our photos and you'll see that they are actual pictures of the unit and upon your arrival you will say that the pictures do not do this place justice. Also, know that this unit has the highly desirable 1,315 sq. ft. floorplan. If you want to make your trip special this is the unit for you.

-With us you rent unit Konea 707, you don't rent a category and find out what you get when you arrive at the front desk. With us you get actual pictures of the unit and the actual view from the unit.
-Free Internet Resort Wide
-No worrying about when the maid service is going to interrupt your day since we don't offer housekeeping.
-We personally see that this unit is cleaned to our high standards.
-Use of swimming pool, exercise room, and concierge service. We also provide beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, paper products and binoculars.
-Charge all resort costs on your credit card.
-Our Aloha Welcome Package which includes coffee K-pods, Chilled Champagne, Hawaiian Chocolates, Terra Pure Green Tea Shampoo and Soaps.
-- We take your stay personally, so anything that comes up, we will do our best to take care of it. We want you happy and we want you back!
-We are fortunate to Live Aloha everyday and our goal is for our guests to Live Aloha while they are our guests. Whether it's just another trip to Maui or the only trip you'll ever take to Maui, our mission is to make it special.
The bellmen are all real good guys that work hard that are ready to assist you with your luggage up to the unit.
Currently self and valet parking are free. (subject to change) Only one car per unit is allowed in the underground parking garage. This is subject to change.

We had the best vacation staying here! The condo is beautiful and in the perfect location in the Konea building. We saw countless whales from the deck and the most beautiful sunsets. The condo is fully equipped with anything you could need for your vacation, and the beds are comfortable. Also, the owner is very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
We have been staying at Houna Kai for many years now and this unit did not disappoint. My kids and I had an amazing time and the views are incredible as always.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The unit was perfect for our family and had everything we needed to feel right at home.The highlight for us was the towel vending machine (as silly as that sounds!) It was incredibly convenient to use fresh towels and simply deposit them into the dirty side when finished; it kept the unit clutter-free and meant no worrying about where to hang things to dry. We also loved the keyless entry; not having to carry around a card made coming and going so easy and stress-free.The location is fantastic and very walkable. We loved being able to stroll to nearby spots, and I highly recommend visiting Papi Ohana's!!!! They have the best cinnamon rolls ever! The views of the property and the beach were beautiful, and access to the beach itself was quick and easy. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
Joe was an excellent host. We had everything we needed for a quick check-in. The condo was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location on the top floor with views of the ocean and pools was outstanding. I you’re looking for a memorable family vacation this condo and location is the answer.

It is a beautiful place to stay and you have amazing views. It is close to everything and so much to enjoy at the beach that is right next to the condo! Loved everything about it!
We had a fabulous stay. The condo was super spacious and clean. We were very comfortable with all the amenities. The view was gorgeous. The beach out front had great snorkeling and we enjoyed swimming with the turtles. Duke’s on the property is always a delicious meal! I will be back!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit was very comfortable for 2 couples. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook breakfast every morning. We ate dinner out so can’t comment on if kitchen was stocked for more complicated meal preparation. Lovely view from lanai and has morning shade. The owner is easy to contact and communicate with. We have rented from him before. I would stay in this unit again if available.

Beautiful luxurious and spacious accommodations. Condo had all the basics plus plenty of beach supplies such as chairs, boogie boards and a cooler. There was also a generous supply of shampoo, soap and lotion. Loved spending time and having meals on the balcony. Amazing view! Location is perfect for walks along the beach boardwalk and easy to get to local restaurants, grocery’s and food trucks. Would definitely recommend a stay here.!
We felt right at home in this beautiful property. The unit is spacious and well appointed. This property has several pools to choose from and the beach is just steps away. Property manager/owner, Joe, made every effort to accommodate our requests. We had a wonderful stay! Can’t wait to book again.
This property was exactly what we were hoping for our Maui adventure. It is in a beautiful location. We loved watching whales from our balcony. Snorkeling out on the beach and enjoying the expansive pools was a blast too!
The condo has everything you need for your stay. It has been very well kept up and for its age is in excellent condition. Joe was great to work with and was very responsive.
