Overlooks the hills of the Serra do Geres on the field and Cávado River and is located in the surrounding area of ​​Peneda Geres National Park.

Peaceful house in beautiful scenery

We really enjoyed our stay in the house, everything you could possibly need is there, the kitchen was the best equipped we have ever had on holiday. Quiet location with lemon & orange trees in the garden. Really good base to explore the national park from with some great walks( recommend the vale do homem where we saw golden eagles) and twisty roads to the viewpoints and waterfalls in the park. José was very friendly & helpful and the house was well stocked with eucalyptus logs for a cosy fire in the evenings. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

How lucky we were to stay here - highly recommended

We were absolutely delighted with the property and the location. The villa was spotless, spacious and lacked for nothing by way of facilities. We were particularly impressed by how light and airy it was inside. Outside there is plenty of space around the pool and garden to sit out and relax. The location was spectacular with wonderful views across the rivers and the mountains; we spent many an hour sat outside just drinking in the views. One note of caution try not to use a car that is too wide as the drive up to the parking area is quite tight. Also if travelling by car from Lisbon or Porto we would suggest stopping at the Braga retail park and stocking up at the superb Continente supermarket.

Très jolie maison bien équipée dans un cadre superbe

Maison calme bien placée pour découvrir cette région authentique et préservée Cuisine tres bien equipée Deux jolies chambres avec des matelas confortables Une terrasse avec vue imprenable sur le lac de barrage Petit jardin avec citronnier et oranger Accueil sympathique des parents de josé qui habitent juste a coté Supermarchés a vieira do minho a 10/15 min En octobre le lac est calme sans bruit de scooter des mers ni surpopulation touristique.
