Our house is located in Egliseneuve d'Entraigues, a quiet small village on the mountainside(alt 1000m)in the massif of Sancy.You will find there everything you need:a bakery,a butchery,a grocery, a post-office, a doctor, a chemist...If you like walking there many footpathes, lakes(fishing is possible in many of them).If you prefer cultural visits there are many roman churches, castels(some of them are animated). we get a farm with goats and a few cows(organic agriculture)If you want to visit it, there is no problem.Our region has an AOC label for cheese(St nectaire,cantal,fourme d'Ambert, and Bleu d'Auvergne).Some farms propose to show how they make cheese.You can taste our specific meals in many restaurants.There are many other things to do and to see in are nice region of Auvergne.In winter you can practice ski,snowboard, slide, (all wintergames) and in the evening you will enjoy a nice time listening to traditional music or jazz(there is a jazz festival in february).If you need any information or a piece of advice, I can help you and propose many booklets
