This property is located slope side on Powderhorn Mountain Resort and features 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms and a pull out sofa to accommodate up to 7 people. There is a full kitchen, dining area, hot tub, sauna, and game room - with air hockey and pinball. Depending on the season, you can enjoy skiing or hiking just steps out your front door. Cozy up by the fire or relax in the hot tub after a day of premier waterfall hiking and picturesque sightseeing all within a 5 minute drive. This property is within walking distance to one of the many beautiful waterfalls of the area, and a few minutes drive to the world famous Black River Falls National Scenic Byway. Like to bike? Use this condo as your hub and tour the many Mountain bike trails in the area, with Copper Peak Ski Flying Facility and Mountain Bike trails only a 5 minute drive away. Or venture to the Iron Belle paved trail system for a smooth bike ride or walk through the local communities for some lunch and culture.

Awesome place to explore the northwest UP

Enjoyed all the amenities the place had to offer, very clean property. Eric the property owner contacted us on our day of arrival to ensure we got in the unit alright, we appreciated that. Was nice to enjoy the hot tub and sauna after a long day of exploring the porcupine mountains wilderness state park and other scenic trails and locations in the area, had fun with the spiderman pinball machine also. Ironwood and Bessemer were just a 10 minute drive away and Walmart was conveniently a close drive. You need not worry in case of a rainy day on your visit up in the northwest U.P. as this chalet has all the amenities for entertainment you would want. Looking to come back again in the future sometime.

Comfy Home Base for Porcupine Mts & Waterfall Exploring!

Private, forested end unit in an upscale building decked out in quality North Woods style! Large back deck with Weber Smoky Joe grill and two chairs overlooks bottom of the ski slope near the lodge. Large windows open wide to let in summer breezes and cool night air. Air conditioner and heat for other times. Two bedrooms upstairs with a full bath with double sinks off the hall between them. Master overlooks the deck and ski slope - beautiful view! 2nd bedroom has a study bunkbed with a twin over a queen. Main floor has plenty of comfortable seating and a pull-out, queen-sized sofa bed with a good mattress. Dining table has a window seat with a pad at one end, and chairs around the other sides. Half bath with sink and vanity. Galley kitchen had all the basics, and a nice convection oven. Lower level provided entertainment for the whole family! Air hockey, pinball, and foosball with seating for spectators. Hot tub, sauna, and a shower with dual heads, heat lamp, and heated towel rack to ensure full relaxation! As indicated in the description, there isn't a washer or dryer in the unit. SuperOne Grocery and Walmart less than 10 minute drive for groceries and supplies in Ironwood. 15 minute drive to Black River Harbor to explore waterfalls and enjoy a beautiful pebbled Lake Superior beach. 35 minute drive to Presque Isle River. 45 minutes to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park Visitor Center. Host responded instantaneously when I had questions!
