Lovely house in quite location

One of the nicest properties we have stayed at in France. The house was extremely clean, well equipped and the pool, hot tub and outdoor kitchen were great. It was a very quiet location. Many thanks to Christian and Martine who where very friendly and put up with my rusty French.

Amazing!

Absolutely wonderful property and very friendly owners. Very spacious and clean with well equipped main kitchen and outdoor kitchen. Beautiful and well kept grounds and amazing area with proper Swiss style sauna amd jacuzzi with seating area and loungers. Plenty of areas to relax and a lovely sized pool! Our boys who are 13 and 16 did many lengths of the pool. Lovely view and you can see the church in the village centre which in within walking distance. Situated in quiet area and definitely would recommend this property!!

Great property, spacious and well-equipped, with friendly and helpful owners.The pool area - with the outdoor kitchen and the spa area with the hot tub - is excellent, and there is a BBQ area for cooking. The pool is not heated, which is not a problem when the sun is shining, but is less inviting when it isn't - but then the hot tub is useful. Unfortunately the sauna was not in use.There is an (unaccessible but viewable) area to the back of the pool which had a aviary and some tortoises which our daughter loved!The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean, as is the rest of the property. A small note; to access the pool area, there are steps down from the house to an intermediate level, and then three further, quite deep, steps to the pool, which may not be easy to negotiate for more elderly guests.

Wonderful pool area.

We had a fabulous break, the house is spacious and well equipped, albeit is a little outdated, but we spent 90% of our time on the lower level pool area which was absolutely superb, the pool is a great size for swimming as well as playing games, the kitchen area ideal and the pool room with the jacuzzi is an added bonus. The village is lovely with a couple of little shops and the cafe/bar very welcoming (look out for the entertainment on Friday nights), Maglas shopping centre is only 5 minutes away by car and will meet all needs. This did not get 5 stars as the showers do not work well, we had to use the one in the pool room everyday as this worked best. The sauna was not operational and there are 3 toilets listed, but we only found 2 and it would be better if there was a toilet in the pool area. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and would return to this property.

Merci pour votre agréable appréciation et nous avons été ravis de vous accueillir malgré la barrière de la langue , oui il n'y a que 2 wc et 2 salles d 'eau avec douche et 1 salle de bain avec baignoire , par contre nous ne savions pas que la douche en question ne marchait pas personne ne nous l'avait pas signaler et nous avons réparer tout de suite .Sincères salutations. Petit coin de paradis

Maison charmante dans un petit village et conforme aux photos. Nous y avons séjourné 15 jours avec 2 ados et c est un sejour magnifique. Un vrai havre de paix et un petit coin de paradis. Heerlijk vakantiehuis !

Voor de tweede keer op rij hier op vakantie geweest en net zoals vorig jaar genoten van het zeer comfortabele en complete huis. Aan bijna niets ontbreekt het. Entlegenes Haus mit guter Ausstattung, nicht ausreichender Pflege

Ein Haus bei dem man das Auto braucht. Vor Ort gibt es einen guten Bäcker und eine kleine Takeaway-Pizzeria. Für alles andere muss man ca.10 km fahren. Abends lautes Froschkonzert und tagsüber muss man das permanente Gekreische von ca. 30 Wellensittichen, in einer Voliere im Garten der Hausbesitzer, erdulden. Daneben gibt es vier Wachteln in einem Käfig von ca. 50x30x50, erschien uns sehr klein- sie haben keinen Freilauf, wie auch die Tauben. Der Garten hat viele Unterteilungen und sieht aus wie bei Kleingärtnern, mit vielen Dekoelementen, es fehlen nur noch Gartenzwerge ;). Das Haus an sich, ausgenommen der unsäglichen Farbgestaltung, die jeder mögen kann oder nicht, ist gut ausgestattet. Betten sind 3x 1,40 vorhanden, dabei eine Matratze für uns zu weich, die anderen sehr gut. Wer es auch bis in die Ecken sauber mag hat hier kein Glück, sonst ist es ok. Leider kann man die Hauseingangstür nicht nutzen. Somit muss man immer durch die stinkende Garage und mit schweren Taschen längere Wege zur Küche gehen. Das Haus hat keine Fliegenfenster, daher wird man nachts von Mücken zerstochen. Es gibt keine Klimaanlagen, Anfang Juni geht das noch, es kühlt abends genug ab. Schön ist die vorhandene Sauna, schön wäre ein sauberer Whirlpool, wir mochten in die Brühe, mit grauen Ablagerungen (irgendetwas schmieriges) nicht steigen. Am meisten hat uns gestört, dass der Pool lediglich einmal die Woche gereinigt wird. Und vor allem nur einmal in der Nacht für eine Stunde umgewälzt wird. Man muss bevor man reingeht erstmal ewig die toten Insekten rausfischen und auch dann schwimmt man immer noch in einem Insektengrab. Unsere Erfahrung von verschiedenen Poolhäusern ist deutlich anders gewesen. Die Umwälzung war entweder fast permanent oder mehrmals täglich, so dass alles rausgefiltert war. Wir haben den Besitzer am dritten Tag unseres Aufenthalts darauf, sehr freundlich, angesprochen. Die Bitte nach öfterem Filtern, und einem Wassertausch des Whirlpools, wurde sehr unfreundlich abgelehnt. Keinerlei Entgegenkommen! Das hat unseren Aufenthalt hier leider getrübt.

Les commerces les plus proches sont à 2,5km à Magalas Intermarché et Aldi .Nous sommes au printemps et bien sûr s' est la période des amours des grenouilles et bien sur elles croassent pour appeler leur belles compagnes, désolés nous sommes en pleine campagne ,en plus le 5 juin vous avez eu la fête du village qui s appelle :la fête à la Grenouille .Quant aux animaux il faut avoir une certaine expérience pour en parler. Pour l' aménagement du jardin vous ne pouviez pas être surpris car les photos en témoignent et vous avez choisi de venir ici ,quand vous réserver il faut regarder vos critères... climatisation, Jardin de Le NÖTRE où de MONET ..où de nains .Nous sommes aussi désolés pour la canicule du mois de Juin Nous venons le matin de bonne heure tous les 3 jours pour ne pas géner les locataires pour la maintenance du jacuzzi de la piscine ,elle est filtrée 8 H par nuit , par contre s'il tombe des débris de feuille ou des insectes il y a une épuisette pour les enlever car l eau est limpide c est çà que Christian vous a dit , quelques insectes qui se noient nous sommes dans la campagne, les abeilles viennent boire et alors....!!!! que faire ??? Nous comprenons très bien votre désarroi mais fallait louer un gite où une chambre d'hôte avec une piscine couverte et des hôte à votre disposition et non pas une maison de location il ne faut pas confondre avec les gites ....Après 18 ans d'expériences nous n 'avons jamais eu de telles remarques Un autre point pour être des personnes exigeantes , vous auriez pu faire du ménage avant votre départ . Les propriétaires étaient très accueillants, chaleureux et à l'écoute. Notre séjour fut reposant autour d'une magnifique piscine, d'un salon d'été très pratique et d'un spa pour bien terminer la journée. Les environs sont magnifiques et permettent de très belles balades. A recommander!

Vacances au calme dans un cadre superbe

Nous avons passé deux magnifiques semaines au calme dans cette magnifique propriété. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, discrets et réactifs en cas de soucis. Le cadre extérieur est magnifique, très bien entretenu, piscine au top, cuisine d'été bien pensée, sans oublier le coin bien-être conforme aux photos présentées.
