The home was the perfect size for our 6-day vacation. It has everything needed and plenty of room. The owner was very good at communicating with us if we needed anything. Definitely a peaceful and quiet setting.
We are so sorry that you had trouble parking!! We have ample space in our parking area for 3 cars which we feel is sufficient for a house that sleeps 6. There is also room for a 4th car up the driveway a bit. 😊
Everyone in the family loved the house. All the amenities you could want and more. Very comfortable for 5 adults and everyone felt right at home. It is definitely tucked away in the woods and the deer come right up to the house. We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we opened the door and the family hated to leave. It is a bit of a drive to Glacier but was worth it.
We traveled to the area to see family and friends and the location was perfect. Far enough in the country to be quiet but close enough to town to be near everything. The house is nicely laid out and gave us and our kids the ability to have some space. The deck and surrounding areas are beautiful, even though the stream by the house was dry at the time we were there. The homeowner is very responsive and helpful. We’d love to stay there again.
Very clean and roomy. Had everything that you needed. Very comfortable. Stream right next to the porch. Deer everywhere. Like camping in the middle of the woods in a beautiful house.
This is a wonderful place to stay. It is tucked in the woods and is so peaceful. We were fortunate to see many deer and baby fawns. Even though the creek was dried up for the summer, it was still so enjoyable. Lots of room to spread out for our family of four, and the most well stocked house we have rented. The owner has excellent communication and is very friendly. Short 20 minute drive to Flathead and 1:40 minutes to Glacier. You won’t regret staying here!

Beautiful, Comfortable and Calming
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! The setting was just gorgeous. Loved seeing the deer from the kitchen and dining room windows! The home was extremely comfortable and perfect for our family! The owners were very easy to work with and extremely responsive! Every time I had a question they'd get back to me fast! They even called during our stay to make sure everything was to our satisfaction! If we ever find ourselves back in the Ronan area we would definitely stay here again!!!

Fantastic!!
We rented this wonderful residence for our visit to the Flathead Valley. The house is warm and inviting. From the bridge crossing the creek to the house, to the comfortable beds, to the wildlife wandering through the area, to the private grand setting, this house has everything.
We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck in the cool morning air having breakfast and planning the day events. We traveled to Glacier National Park, the National Bison Range (recommend getting there at 6:30 am to see the most wildlife), and Flathead Lake.
Linda, our host was very helpful with all details and was ost gracious. We look forward to our next visit. We highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed.
We visit Ronan quite often and stay with family. This time, because of the amount of out of town family attending my niece's wedding, we had to make other lodging arrangements. This house is charming. There was enough rooms and bathrooms to make our stay comfortable. It was raining, so we didnt spend much time outside. However, if you do stay during the summer months, the outside is beautiful and has an amazing deck by a creek. The homeowner, Linda, made sure we were comfortable and could find the property. She was always in contact with me making sure we were OK even though she was working out of the country.

Absolutely Perfect
Found this house outside of Ronan, only minutes from Flathead Lake. My daughter was getting married on a ranch outside of Ronan and I was trying to find a house for her Ohio family and much to my amazement found this delightful house. It was only 2 miles from the ranch so our many trips to ranch preparing for the wedding/reception was a god send. The house is gorgeous and very homey, loved the creek right outside the living room French doors! Linda was very responsive which made our stressful time much more enjoyable. Hope we will be able to stay again under less stressful circumstances.
Thank you

Needs updating
The location in Ronan was great, be sure to eat at Stella’s - great food, awesome coffee. Unfortunately, overall the house was disappointing. It was like staying at a relatives house built and decorated in the ‘80s. There was little inside decor to let you know you were in Montana.
Black and gold bathroom fixtures, uncomfortable bed, and very dated well worn sheets and stained towels..
The master bathtub was very narrow and could use a good scrubbing, yes there were marble walls.
The kitchen while fine, needs organization and thorough cleaning. I would hate to have the pot scrubber analyzed for bacteria! Also, the refrigerator was full of food, I assume owners and others. Vacation homes should be spotless and fridge emptied.
There were baskets overflowing with Montana brochures, so many it was frustrating to find benefit. The house manual could use a good review as well.
Fireplace was awesome but sofas incredibly uncomfortable and TV “tiny” for the size of living area. Finally the reason we rented this property were the online representations, especially the flowing stream - which was unfortunately bone dry. If I had known it was seasonal I would have rented elsewhere.
I know I am being hard, but if you are going to be in the vacation home rental market, you occasionally need to spend some money as well.

I am truly sorry that our home did not meet your expectations. It would have been helpful to know of your issues while you were there so that we would have had the opportunity to remedy them rather than to find out in your review. Frankly, I am a little perplexed as this was your final correspondence with us:
“Hi Linda,
Hope your trip is going well. We plan to leave between 9 and 10, probably 9 though. Will take care of the key and clean up after ourselves.
One mishap, a glass fell out of the end cabinet door when we opened it. Glasses are precariously stacked in there. Sorry about that!
Thanks again for letting us use your place!”
Had you let us know, our lovely cleaning ladies would have been happy to return to the house for a further cleaning and to remove any of the items from the refrigerator that you did not want. While we recognize that we can’t please everyone, we always try to make sure there are enough kitchen basics to cook a full meal. We have been told that ours is the most well stocked vacation rental of any that our guests have visited previously. This is not by accident. We want you to feel like this is your home too.
There is not a bathtub in the master bedroom – only a large shower and there are at least 10 sets of sheets and towels for guests use – many of them new this year. If you had let us know, we would have been happy to show you where to find new ones or to come and change them for you.
Our home is not a Montana cabin but an elegant home. It was built and furnished by our family. I think the photos give a pretty good indication that it is not rustic or a cabin in any way.
Lastly, our creek runs most of the year. In very hot summers, it slows to a trickle or stops altogether in late summer/early fall until the rains come again. There is not much we can do about that. Again I am truly sorry that you didn’t find our home up to your standards – we wish you and your wife all the best in your future travels.
There were 6 of us, all in our 40s. We had such a relaxing time. We saw deer in the backyard. The home is larger than what the pictures show. There is plenty of space to spread out or be together. Linda was always available and seems like such a lovely person! I'd love to talke my family back.
Extremely comfortable, everything we needed was available to us. We were hoping for cooler weather but it was so beautiful we were happy to be there. This was a perfect place to stay. Linda was always available for questions.
Wonderful location at the foothills of the mountains. We saw wildlife everyday. We got to watch a baby Robin take flight for its first time! The creek and walkway were perfect for family pictures. The house was much larger than we thought from the pictures, plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy nature! All around one of our favorite rentals so far!!
Everything was just lovely in this hidden treasure of a home. The creek was mesmerizing to watch, the wildlife abundant! If the weather had been more agreeable we would have taken advantage of the beautiful deck. Everything we needed was there and Linda was helpful to talk to about check in and out procedures! Thank you for the wonderful week- we would definitely book again
This house is absolutely wonderful. It is right at the base of the mountains in the middle of the woods. We had deer visitors every morning and saw tons of birds, which were easy to see through the ample windows. There was plenty of room throughout out the house along with ample outdoor seating.
The owner was communicative and responsive. There were no issues with the stay and we couod not have asked for a more relaxing, picturesque place to stay!
This home is really something special. The house itself is incredible and it is set back in such beautiful scenery. It truly feels like a place to retreat from the world. We had a lovely stay and would absolutely recommend the rental to anyone interested in exploring Mission Valley.
This was a lovely place tucked away in the woods. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could want for cooking, including some staple items and condiments, which was appreciated. We enjoyed walks around the area and then getting warmed up with a fire. It was a cold week!
There is absolutely nothing we would change about this property or location. The most well planned out and functional home I have been in; through all my travels. Clean, inviting, peaceful, beautiful. Linda is so amazing and i I hope to some day meet her in person. When you stay here, you are not just another number or name in their guest book. She genuinely cares and treats you like family. Thank you for everything!
