Our listed weekly rate is for 4 people. Additional people are $175/week per person (children 12 and under are discounted half, please contact us for the age discount). Property is not suitable for ages 6 and under.

MINIMUM RENTAL AGE 25. Owner approval required prior to adding more guests after initial booking agreement.

We have minimum booking lengths set but will consider shorter bookings. Please inquire directly for shorter bookings.

You are ON THE WATER. Walk out your front door and down the private walkway into the Caribbean. Swim and snorkel over coral reefs at water’s edge that are home to colorful tropical fish. A short way out is a broad sandbar 3 to 5 feet deep that is excellent for wading and swimming.

Sip morning coffee on our dock at water’s edge. Enjoy breakfast in the gazebo or veranda. Relax in the hammocks. Grill your evening meal on our shaded veranda while you catch the cooling breezes and watch the sunset.

We provide four kayaks that can be launched from our sea walkway for exploring Rainbow Bay.

Rainbow Beach is a minute stroll away. Shallow and calm it is a wonderful beach for kids and adults and offers great snorkeling along the jetty. Relax under tiki huts with picnic tables and benches (seasonal). We provide noodle floats, beach towels, and beach chairs. It is a ten minute walk from Dolphin House to the Atlantic side of the island where you will find more beaches to explore.

Dolphin House offers privacy and year round comfortable living inside and out. Our huge veranda has comfortable seating areas, tables for dining that sit four or six, two reclining loungers, lounge chairs, and a propane grill.

Two of our three bedrooms have sea views and en suite bathrooms. These bedrooms are situated at opposite ends of the home with kitchen and living/dining area in between. This floor plan provides privacy and distance. The third bedroom with bath off the central hallway has a view of gardens front and side. Open the doors and windows and enjoy natural breezes from the Caribbean and the Atlantic. Ceiling fans and standing fans in all rooms contribute to additional air flow.

Just outside our veranda doors you can enjoy noodle floats, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, hammock lounging, and grilling without ever having to get into a car. Rainbow Beach is just a minute walk away.

But of course Eleuthera offers so much more. Be sure to explore deserted beaches, local community shops and restaurants. Meet friendly people with welcoming smiles. Visit Eleuthera and Dolphin House. You will want to return.

Great place to stay. The view simply can’t be described how amazing it is from the back veranda! Everything you need is in the house. The beds are a little stiff but other than that 5 stars all the way.

Like a previous review states: this house is much more beautiful than the pictures show! The interior is simple but very well appointed, the outdoor spaces are amazing! Check out the toy room for anything you may need for the beach. Top snorkel spots for us were: rainbow cay (covered with beautiful purple sea fans n deep crevases to explore), oleander gardens, twin coves (North Bay) and current cut. Message Tom at Island

This could not have been a better stay. The Dolphin House will be our “go-to” getaway for future vacations where we want to simply unplug and relax. The amount of love and care that the owners have put into the home and preparing it for guests is evident, and particularly enjoyed reading a picture book of improvements made since the owners bought the house in 2005, and notes from the owners posted throughout the house to explain how things work. The view from the veranda and the relaxation of the gazebo and hammocks are magical. A perfect getaway for a busy couple just seeking to unwind, and the caretakers’ family were available nearby and were perfect for local knowledge, a rental car, and some great meals. We’re booking our next “escape week” at Dolphin House now, before the crowds discover it! :)

Paradise Found!

Beautiful home in an excellent location- a true vacation of a lifetime! Owners provided many resources and info on the island and were very responsive. Just returned from our third visit and looking forward to many more!

Dolphin House - Amazing!!!

It was a great stay and enjoyed time with our friends! The views were stunning, and communication was great throughout! It was like the Caribbean Sea was our own swimming pool. The house was easy to get to and it was a lovely quiet area. We wanted to go to the beach and it was two houses down. There were grocery stores close by and we had everything we needed! Definitely plan to come again!

Dolphin house at Rainbow bay

This was our fifth trip to Eleuthera and Dolphin house has one of the best locations on the island. It is walking distance to Rainbow Bay beach. The house was comfortable and clean. The AC works very well. It comes with 4 kayaks, a lot of snorkeling equipment and other beach toys. We would love to stay here again when we come back in the future.

Fantastic Home dated furnishings but what a view. Vrey peaceful. No nightlife but this is a vacation to relax. Internet goes off allot but all the pluses out way any minus. There is a resident close by that is available for any issues. We had none.

Dolphin House was a fabulous place to stay.

Staying at Dolphin House made our Everything relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was very organized, and there was plenty of room for everyone. It's a beautiful place to see stunning sunsets and swim all day long. Booking Dolphin House was easy, great communication and Brenda, the housekeeper was very helpful.

What a beautiful property. The home was impeccably clean! The view was to die for! We had everything we needed! Rainbow Bay Beach is steps away. You can snorkel right off the back steps. Loved this place!

Great for family

Two teens, middles aged and 75 yo. Snorkeling right off the deck as well as Rainbow Bay was some of the best we had in the island. Brenda was so kind and welcoming. Only down side was no soap/shampoo. Great location!

Perfect location

The house was just perfect for our family. The owners thought of every little detail and are very responsive and kind. The location is great for a family vacation. I particularly enjoyed the proximity of the rocky Atlantic coast, which is only a short walk away from the house. We were also happy to use the recommended car rental, Jeep was very useful to explore the island's hidden secrets. Try Front Porch restaurant in Hatchet Bay or Brenda & Billy Stubbs BBQ in James Cistern.

Perfect location

Love the location, swim access, and views of this property!! The communication was excellent and we will most definitely be back! Just a heads up it is a bit dated, but it’s comfortable and provided all the necessities we needed for the week. We brought dried goods and cooler bag with frozen food to supply majority of our food. Stores and restaurants are pricey, but we still enjoyed some local restaurants too!

This was our first time on the Island and it was amazing. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need ,it was if you were in your home. The care tacker was always available and very responsive we were their for eight days and had our second thoughts about going back home. This is truly paradise we highly recommend this property.

Showcasing Eleuthera Beauty

This house definitely showcases the beauty of Eleuthera. It’s hard to ever believe and you can never put into words the actual beauty of the water! We have stayed in Current, Whale Point, and now in Rainbow Bay. As all places are lovely, this view is hard to compete with along with location being next to the beach. We are water people, so for us this was an ideal location. The house is spacious and has everything you need. The veranda is amazing and the gazebo is quite a treat too. Contact with the owners was met with a quick response. For us being tucked away is the point of our trips, and don’t mind a drive to restaurants, the ferry, etc. We shall be back!!

Dolphin house

the House is on the water. gorgeous views from Vernanda and gazebo. House very comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked with cookware / dinnerware. Kayaks and snorkle gear available. If water calm can launch Kayaks right from property. We loved the hammocks, had cocktails and coffee on veranda and gazebo. Beautiful sunsets .We ate our meals outside on Vernada. So peaceful.

Most Beautiful On The Island

This was our second stay at Dolphin House. We don't usually go to the same place twice but this is a special space. The house is clean, smells good, plenty of room, comfy beds, lots of hot water and well stocked kitchen. Kendra is a lovely and helpful host and the local family that maintain the house are sweet people. The show stopper is that incredible view off the back veranda. We've been all over the island and nothing beats that amazing turqoise water right out the back door. The snorkeling is great too right off the yard. We saw stingrays, grouper, lots of fish and even a turtle. Its absolute paradise.

The property and location is perfect. Brenda the caretaker stopped in briefly just to check on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. She does a bbq Friday and Saturday’s which is a must to stop in. The food is fantastic. The host responds immediately with any questions. The property is beautiful. Our 17 year old son spent most of the time fishing and snorkeling right in front of the house. Caught bone fish and barracuda. Seen rays and sea turtles. We will definitely book again.

Stay at Dolphin House

There was my daughter, great granddaughter and myself that stayed at the house. Everything was emasculate and the house was lovely. There was plenty of room in the house and it was loaded with amenities. The porch was fabulous and had more than enough room for everyone. The gazebo was awesome. There was not one thing bad about the house, and if we ever go again we want the Dolphin House. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful house with us. Donna, Karen and Abby.

Staying in Paradise!

Our trip was unbelievable! The house was great. Best vacation in years! Everything was perfect! Brenda and Lisa were great Had a great time going to there cookouts! Brenda is such a special person. Lisa also! You hit jackpot with these lovely ladies! There kindess made our trip so much more! Treated us like family! I named Brenda the mayor! Billy was also so kind. 38th anniversary was wonderful at Dolphin House!

My lovely wife and I have traveled most of the Caribbean islands over the years and have settled on Eleuthera as our favorite for soooo many reasons. We spent our 38th anniversary at the Dolphin House and loved every minute. The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The process of renting it was smooth and stress-free. We even used their recommendation to get a rental car from Kean (I highly recommend him as well!). I genuinely don't know what else I would have asked for. The beds were comfy, the grill worked, the internet was fast, the kayaks (4 of them) were great, they had floats and other swimming stuff available, a Gazebo where we spent the evenings, and a walk-in path into the water. ...and good fishing! My wife caught a good-sized grouper right off the edge of the coral (handline, not even using a rod) that paired well with the steaks we grilled that evening. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. I recommend renting Dolphin House but not at the same time as our anniversary 'cuz we're heading back. :-) (we're booking next year's stay this week). Awesome stay in Rainbow Bay

We absolutely loved Dolphin House in Rainbow Bay! The home was spacious for our family of four. Even though the rooms and furnishings are older, you can tell that the owners and caretakers take great pride in maintaining everything beautifully. The house was impeccably clean and all the appliances and features worked well. The kitchen was well stocked, and they offered a lot of extras for use like beach bags, a cooler, extra beach towels, etc. The beds were not the most comfortable but were fine. We also liked the way the owners have everything labeled to make it easy to figure out how everything works in the house. The crown jewel of the house is the backyard. The view is just stunning and we really enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling off the back porch on calm days and watching the waves splash against the rocks on windy days. Sunsets were spectacular from the gazebo. Between the hammocks, the gazebo, and the back veranda, there are plenty of places to sit, lounge, and eat outside to make the most of it. The location is also fantastic. It is only 15 minutes from James Cistern with several good restaurants and then another 10 minutes to Governor's Harbor. To the north it is only about 15 to 20 minutes from Glass Window Bridge. There are a ton of great beaches within a 20 minute drive. All in all, we would highly recommend Dolphin House and we can't wait to return!

Why they chose this property

We discovered Eleuthera in 2002 when we were visiting a relative who had an island home. We loved the island, the friendly people, the beautiful deserted beaches, the warm Caribbean Sea and the dramatic Atlantic Ocean just a few minutes across the island. It was a quiet place close to nature without the distractions of crowded tourist attractions. We bought our beautiful home on the Caribbean Sea in 2005 and set to work immediately to make it more beautiful. We spend several months there each year in different seasons expanding the gardens and making improvements to the house. We enjoy and take pride in making our home a comfortable and welcoming place to share with our many rental guests.

Our daughter Kendra manages the booking process for Dolphin House.
