Although this East Nashville area home sits in the middle of nature with a huge park and paved trails right in its backyard, it is just minutes away from some of Nashville's hottest establishments including nationally recognized restaurants, music venues, bars, and eclectic shops. It's not far from Downtown Nashville and also less than 10 minutes to the Opry area. If you want to live like a local and enjoy the outdoors, you'll love it here.
This renovated 2,200+ square foot 4 bedroom home includes a spacious kitchen, huge living room plus den, dining room, four bedrooms including a large primary suite with a remodeled spa-like bathroom, one additional full bathroom, and deck adjacent to the greenway entrance. Light pours into the living space as windows overlook the scenic park. Fully stocked kitchen sits between the dining room and exterior deck for easy access for those who wish to entertain. A deck looks privately onto the huge and luscious trees of Shelby Bottoms Park with owls, rabbits, tree frogs, and deer making frequent appearances in the backyard. As the Cumberland River is right around the corner, the General Jackson riverboat cruise can be heard in the distance with its lively music.
Guests have access to the full house, yard, off street parking in the driveway, and direct entrance into the Shelby Bottoms Greenways. The Greenways are miles and miles of paved biking and walking trails extending throughout East Nashville all the way to Downtown Nashville, plus over to the Donelson/Opry areas, Mount Juliet, and beyond. Everybody from marathon runners to competitive cyclists to families taking leisurely strolls enjoy the tree-lined paths along the river, and hiking trails add a little diversion to the paths.
WiFi and cable are provided, with a large flat screen in the living room and small flat screen in the primary bedroom.
Inside, the kitchen is fully stocked with newer appliances (fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave), a toaster, blender, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, pots/pans, and spices.
A full-sized washer and dryer is available to guests free of charge, and is convenient to the four bedrooms.
The reason we purchased this home was because it seemed to be the perfect blend between having city conveniences with wide open spaces and nature in the backyard. Megan is a city girl, Adam is more of a country loving boy, and this awesome location fulfilled both needs. The Greenways are amazing and having the river within steps helped calm our desire to be near water.

Very welcoming. House had plenty of room and extra blankets along with appliances needed to cook. The trails behind the house were definitely a plus too.
The home was very nice and clean.Bed was very comfortable, everything was as described. We would definitely stay again in our future visits to Nashville.
The house was very clean and spacious!! The location worked out great for us. The house is close to the Grand Ole Opry, General Jackson boat, Broadway, shopping and restaurants. One of us was training for a marathon and she loved the nature trails right outside the front door. It is a beautiful area!! We would stay here again!!
Spacious, comfortable, great location and great for families. The access to walking trails is a huge plus. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and well-equipped. This home is everything you could want in a rental property. You can relax and enjoy your stay.
Very comfortable home. Great location. Easy to get to just about anything in Nashville. The trail system next to the house along the river was a great bonus for early morning or evening walks. I will definitely stay here next time I am in Nashville.
We had an amazing stay at this property! They did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed. They even gave us a lot of suggestions on what to do in the area. Would 100% stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay. House was as expected, fully stocked, very informative info left. We would definitely stay here again. We saw many deer in yard. Excellent.

About the host
Hosted by Adam and Megan
Adam is from Michigan and Megan is from California via Nevada and Texas. We met and became friends while both working at a performance rights organization. Over our years of friendship, our relationship evolved romantically, and we married in 2013.
Our love for Nashville is very much related to our love for each other.. two persons from very different parts of the country coming together in one awesome place.
Adam is a self professed IT 'geek', Megan is a Realtor and singer/songwriter.
Adam Rides a motorcycle, Megan rides on the back telling Adam where to go...
We like to go boating when possible and travel when we can. We love Savannah, Ga., Mackinac Island, Mi., N.O.L.A., San Francisco and Honeymooned in Costa Rica. Any one of the aforementioned places we have dreamed about moving to, but our hearts reside in Nashville.
We were recently blessed with our first child, Liam. We look forward to being an adventurous threesome instead of a duo.
