My special interest is my perennial ancestry garden for you to enjoy.
Plants are identified with labels.
Depending on time of year there are magnolia, Siberian squill, violets, lily of the valley, clematis, hyacinth, wild geranium, blanket flower, lilacs, iris, peony, columbine, bleeding hearts, forget me nots, bugbane, allium, surprise lilies, day lilies, hybrid lilies, tiger, leopard lilies, prairie smoke, hollyhocks, hosta, weeping white pine, pendulum spruce, elderberry. Wow! I am amazed myself at the list. Have fun finding them.
IMPORTANT WEATHER UPDATE.
Gardening and weather are intertwined. The weather here in my mini garden climate is getting warmer and wetter. My plants mostly like it. My apartment space sometimes doesn’t like it.
With an abundance of caution, as they say, I want to be transparent about what you may (or may not) experience during the summer months of May thru August.
If we get a sudden severe downpower there could be seepage of water. This is easily handled.
In the event that it is a more serious rain event, I have a bedroom available on the upstairs level which is a double bed. This space is in my own personal living area and has my kitchen available.
I’m sharing this info with you because I would like to have the minimum of weather cancellations.
I like to think we can work the situation out together.
