There for local soccer tournament. Could not be happier with location and much better than staying in a Hotel. It was little and not much but was perfect for what we needed.
It was quiet, clean, relaxing, what could you ask for more.
They had everything you could possibly need. The town was had wonderful places to visit, explore.
After a pleasurable stay last summer we returned this year. The owner provides everything you need. The cottage is clean. It's a great place to enjoy nature and some peace and quiet. We love this cottage and so does our dog!
As always, Tim is an excellent host. The property is clean and quiet and a perfect place for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The property is close to amenities and Erie. Tim has the property well equipped with everything you need.
I truly enjoyed my stay at the grave cottage! I would stay again’ only recommendation I would have is adding WiFi to the cottage . I had no cell service unless I were to be outside & even then only 1 bar of service!
The outrage was very cozy & o loved my stay!
We loved our stay at Early Grace. We are very grateful the space was available, had A/C, and a grill. We used the kitchen to cook 6 dishes for our family reunion potluck and used it as home base for a trip to see family in the area. The manager was evry helpful in working with VRBO to get a refund for one day I needed to cancel. I really appreciated his patience and persistence. I would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed it. The house is small but attractive. The grounds are quite lovely with pleasant walking trails that are kept mown. No wi-fi, though. Two downsides - the front door won't lock and needs repair; the bedroom is on the 2nd floor and the stairs are very steep.
Another great visit! We had some snow, Tim was very communicative about plowing and ensuring there were no frozen pipes! Loved playing in the yard with our dogs and walking the paths. Definitely plan to revisit.

We enjoyed the stay but cabin needs some TLC
Overall we enjoyed our time there. Tim is a super nice guy. The property was nice and well maintained. The cabin needs a few things updated in the kitchen. Upstairs there was no where for my wife to hang her clothes and we wouldn’t use the dresser because it was iffy.

While I respect the opinions of our renters, I certainly do not believe a three star review is warranted. This guest left a message in our guestbook at the cottage indicating that the cottage was “the perfect place “ and the cottage was a “perfect getaway” and “we spent a week here and loved every minute”.
I do recognize the lack of closet space for people that are staying more than a few nights, and we did just order a portable closet to go in the upstairs which will be assembled next week.
This is an older cottage that underwent some renovations and I do agree that the kitchen is in need of updated cabinets, which we hope to do in the off-season.
I think a 4 star review would have been a better reflection of the rental given the glowing remarks the renter left in our guest book. I’d attach a picture of their comments in the guest book if I could!
This was the perfect property for us! My husband was hunting nearby with family and friends. I was able to set up my "office" in the dining area and there was a great outdoors for walking and playing with our dog. Definitely plan to return.
It was a wonderful experience, very relaxing and peaceful all the way around. Grass trails out back around 3+ acres are fantastic. Beautiful sunset. We recommend just random drives in the country side. God’s country for sure! Communication was perfect and came as advertised.
The place was as described. Nothing fancy, but very quiet and nice walking trails on the property. The cabin is very close to a house. I do wish there were more pictures of that and of the steeps stairs to the bedroom, but I did read that in other reviews. Since we were aware, we were not surprised and enjoyed our stay. We love that they are dog friendly, although did not bring our dogs this time. Next time we certainly will though! We had one issue during our stay (our fault) and Tim was super nice and down to earth! The location was also perfect for us since we wanted to visit a few places. We would stay again. Thanks!
We enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was quiet and relaxing. It was clean and it was more than we expected. Our dog loved taking walks through the trails. We will definitely stay there again in the near future.
Great house, Very nice of Tim to allow dogs too. Kitchen, Dining room /foyer combo, living room on first floor. Bedroom and en suite bathroom upstairs. Stairs are a little narrow. Books, Games, and some area information provided.
I was so happy to stumble across this cutest cottage as a weekend getaway, and thrilled that it allowed dogs. I loved the rustic feel and the layout of the cottage, however I really liked all of the extras (books, puzzles, firewood in the pit and spare wood etc). I wasn’t sure what to expect in the yard, but the grass was perfectly cut and I loved the maintained trails through the property for my dogs to run. I would definitely recommend. One huge recommendation is to remember bug spray! There are a TON of mosquitos. (To no fault of Tim’s! Just come prepared.) thank you, Tim, for a great stay!
This was the perfect property to use as a base for visiting in the area. Highly recommend!

We've made a home in Crawford County and have wanted to find a way to help promote and share all the beauty of the region with our friends and family. This cottage is our first step. Bought as an old farm house in 2013, we've done a pretty big remodel of the house and the grounds to help showcase Crawford County. Come stay for awhile and you might just want to call our region home!

What makes this property unique
Full access to 3+ acres of property to enjoy. Outside fireplace, walking trails, flower gardens, pumpkin patch and more!
