Garden with slide, swings, wood burning barbecue. Wooden decking surrounds the rear of the property and indoor pool with sauna, jacuzzi. Table tennis. Bed linen and towels included.An ideal spot for anyone looking for rest and relaxation, but also for discovering the beautiful local scenery and visiting the very special town such as Quimper, Vannes, Brest...Not to forget the exceptionnal gastronomy incorporing shell fish and diverse fish sorts !

Le Pouldu port
The port of Le Pouldu where the river Laïta empties itself is also a passage way and a surveillance location. As with most of the infrastructures of the Finistère ports, le Pouldu which has remained a modest one in size, dates back to the second half of the 19th century, a time when this privileged site was turned into a resort attracting artists related to the pictorial movement known as the "School of Pont-Aven".

Le Doëlan port
Is an authentic port like those typically found on postcards. A long quay side, rocks and the Beg An Tour beach are the perfect setting for a pleasant swim. The alignment of the famous 'upstream' lighthouses inside the Harbour (in red and white) and "downstream" lighthouses at the end of the coast line (in green and white) indicate the route for ships to follow. You can get fresh fish directly from the fish market.
Two canneries used to operate at the port of Doëlan, the Peyron cannery on the right bank and the Larzul (Captain Cook) cannery on the left bank.

Joli coin de verdure au bord de la laita

Nous avons apprécié la maison avec du cachet son beau terrain arboré et son calme . La maison est à 10mns en voiture de la plage du pouldu et 20m’s de guidel. Proche a pied du gr34 le long de la Laita pour agréable balade . Beau potentiel qui gagnerait à être raffraichi . Les photos datent un peu c’est dommage . Il suffirait de peu .

La maison manque cruellement d'entretien. Des murs qui noircissent, des plafonds repeints à la va-vite, des serrures qui ne ferment plus,la baie de la piscine qui s'ouvre et se ferme très difficilement... La chambre au rez-de-chaussée accessible avec un seuil de 40 Cm en rondin de bois .. Pratique pour une dame de 94 ans.

Au bord de la Laita, proche de la mer.

Villa avec un équipement très complet. Etat général correct. Accès au Pouldu par un agréable chemin côtier( 1/2h à 3/4 h à pied). Un peu loin des commerces. Prévoir moyen de locomotion (voiture ou vélos)

Cadre et villa tres agreables dans un bel environnement calme. Spacieux, ideal pour une famille de 7 personnes. L'entretien General n'est malheureusement pas a la hauteur du niveau du lieu et du prix de la location.

Lovely house, although a little scruffy

We had a lovely week in a very nice house with good facilities. It was slightly further from the river than was implied from photographs and could do with a good clean, but we had a very good week and all enjoyed the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and pool table. It is strange that there was only one toilet available upstairs for 4 bedrooms, which was slightly inconvenient, but we made the best of it.

Fabuleux Week End

La maison est très grande et peut accueillir plusieurs familles avec enfant. Le standing est excellent (vrai litet grande chambre, nombreuses salles de bain,...), la piscine, sauna et le jacuzzi ont fait de nombreux heureux et adepte. Très bon relationnel avec le propriétaire pour la location (échange de mail rapide, disponible au téléphone,.), tout était parfait à notre arrivée avec la visite des lieux. Je conseille vivement cette location qui fera votre bonheur pour un WE ou des vacances

Excellent base for a family holiday

As a family group of 11, which included 4 children, we spent the week 8 -15 August 2015 at the Villa du Port. The villa is located towards the end of a quiet lane near the estuary of the River La Laita. It is just 15 minutes drive from fine beaches at Le Pouldu and Guidel and is a good base for exploring the historic towns in that part of Brittany. We were unlucky with the weather and so the children, in particular, spent many happy hours in the excellent indoor pool and jacuzzi.

"Nous avons passe de fabuleuses vacances dans cette villa pleine de charmes.L''endroit est calme, le jardin magnifique et très bien entretenu. La maison est parfaitement équipée et très fonctionnelle pour famille avec enfants.Les enfants se sont régalés dans la piscine chauffé à 29 ° et nous avons pleinement profité entre deux ballades à Doelan ou sur le sentier côtier du hammam et du sauna.
