Central and modern apartment. Fully equipped and furnished.

Fully equipped and furnished apartment in downtown Oslo. The apartment has two bedrooms, a tiled bathroom and integrated living room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped in such a degree that it can serve as an adequate alternative to own home. The apartments also have private balconies and are part of the Theatre Quarter, a residential quarter which was completed in 2008/2009. A short distance from the main train station, bus station and all of the metro lines, this gives you a good starting point if you want to experience Oslo and its surroundings. Please note that we have several apartments on this location and that the pictures are meant as an example of how the apartment looks like rather than the actual apartment. All of our apartments have similar furnishing and the same equipment, so the main difference between the apartments are the floor planning. Flat had all the amenities needed and was spacious. Beds and pillows were too soft for all of us but that’s down to personal taste. Position good for sightseeing.

So weird!

First off I want to say that the staff of the apartments were very nice and accommodating of our complex schedule. The apartment was centrally located, spotlessly clean and safe. But it was so odd. Only one pillow on a double bed, no soap, shampoo or bath products of any kind, no paper towels, only one spare roll of toilet paper. When we arrived, the battery was chirping in the smoke detector and because it was late all we could do was run down to the little grocery downstairs and buy a new battery ourselves so it wouldn`t keep us up all night! There was a washer in the bathroom, which seemed great until we realized there was no place to plug it in. It took us an hour to figure out how to use the cable. The trash and recycling situation was ridiculously complicated. It just felt like they hadn`t really thought through the renters` needs.

Comfortable and convenient city centre apartment

The booking office and apartment are both very close to the Central Railway station. Quick and easy to find from the airport train. The apartment is modern and comfortable with everything you need for a short break in Oslo. Our visit coincided with the hottest May weather since 1947, so it got very hot in the 8th floor apartment - no aircon - I imagine it isn't needed very often. The location is close to the new barcode district and an easy walk into the city centre and down to the harbour. Also in a great area for lots of ethnic restaurants and supermarkets. Restaurants to recommend are La Villa Restaurant (Turkish) and Punjab Tandoori (Indian). The fresh fruit in these supermarkets is fresh, tasty and much cheaper than conventional supermarkets. The Gronland Gym is good for a drink, located on a local square with lots of kids playing. A boat trip out on the Oslo Fjord is a must - spectacular scenery. Also recommended in good weather are the 50m outdoor pools and diving pool at Frogenbadet - a short tram ride out to the leafy western suburbs. More centrally, lovely gardens in the grounds of the Royal Palace where relaxing on the grass by one of the lakes is completely normal. We will definitely be returning to Norway.

Sehr sauber und zentral. Supermärkte, Shops einfach alles in fünf Gehminuten erreichbar! Habe mich sehr wohl dort gefühlt. Anliegen welche ich hatte wurden zu meiner Zufriedenheit sofort erledigt!

Appartment ganz ok aber die Umgebung und die Bewohner drumherum sehr fraglich

wer in Oslo in einer FeWo in der Platousgate 31 übernachten möchte und sich nicht an einer ghettoähnlichen Umgebung stört, kann hier buchen. Das Appartement ist ganz okay. Wer Spaß daran hat, dass bei schönem Wetter auf den Balkonen ringsherum das Leben tobt, mag dort richtig sein. Wer sich auch an Partylärm und voller Musikdröhnung bis morgens 3.00/3.30 nicht stört, kommt hier auf seine Kosten. Wir buchen hier eher nicht mehr.

Gute Lage und suabere Unterkunft

Wir waren zu dritt in dieser Unterkunft und es war eine schöne Zeit in Oslo. Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen und sauber. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, sodass man sich selber das Essen zubereiten konnte. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und im Bad gab es sogar eine Bodenheizung :-)! Die Unterkunft ist ideal, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Immer wieder gerne!
