'Flaminio' cottage - Your country chalet in Rome

A relaxing stay at the countryside in Rome...You reach Rome center (downtown) in 15 minutes by car or in 20 minutes by tube, from Montebello metro station. Train goes directly at Flaminio Station, 50 mts from PIAZZA DEL POPOLO, VIA DEL CORSO, PIAZZA DI SPAGNA, VILLA BORGHESE ETC.
Our cottage has 2-rooms, garden, fireplace, wooden beam ceiling, in a park Etruscan area (parco di Veio). One bedroom with big bed, the other bed for 2 (or 1) is in the dining room. Supplementary 5th bed available. WIFI. Italian breakfast on request. Price includes linen, sheets, final cleaning, gaz, water, electricity, air conditioned. Italian dinner or cold meal offered in case of late arrival. Relax under the bower in our garden and enjoy fresh air in summer... !

Villino Flaminio was real...

Villino Flaminio was really special - it took about 45 minutes to get to Piazza del Popolo from the house yet it had all the qualities you would expect from a beautiful countryside. Above all I found owners very friendly and helpful beyond my expectation. I truly enjoyed my stay at the cottage and would not hesitate a moment to recommend the place to anyone. Fantastic, just wish I had a car

Our host was the sweetest, kindest women any of us had ever met. She provided us with food and wine in our first night and ice cream and melons on our last. She was willing to drive us to the metro early so we could catch a train to the airport. My only regret was not having a car to get into town. The metro was ~2km and many taxis and Ubers didn't want to come to our location so we unfortunately missed out on some of our plans in central Rome.

This was perfect for our stay in Rome

We are traveling through Italy with our Beagle and this home was perfect for us. Located about 45 minutes driving distance from the center of Rome, the house is equipped with everything needed for a nice stay in the capital. The house and garden are immaculately maintained. The owner is just lovely and we really appreciated her gifts of evening apertifs (Limoncello) and breakfast croissants and pastries left on several of the mornings. We drove, so did not access the public transportation but the train station is just a short walk down the hill. The family live on the property and it is completely enclosed for privacy. Highly recommended.

Abbiamo soggiornato a Monte Camino in questo bellissimo e accogliente B&B per poco più di una settimana e siamo contentissime! Ringraziamo di cuore la sig. Emanuela ed il sig. Silvio che sono stati così gentili e disponibili, che ci hanno aiutato in tutto e per tutto dal trovare un buon ristorante in cui cenare fino a darci una mano con alcuni contatti per affitti studenteschi! Il posto è bello e tranquillo, il B&B è perfettamente curato insieme al giardino! È stata un'esperienza meravigliosa e ci torneremmo altre mille volte!🥰metteremmo anche 10 stelle se potessimo! Grazie grazie grazie❤️

Freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, schnuckeliges kleines Häuschen in Hinterhof mit eigenem Sitzbereich. Gut für Besuche nach Rom ab Bahnhof Montebello. Gerne immer wieder!

Slechts 4 bedden voor 5 personen! Eigenares wou eventueel elders hotel voor ons boeken, maar wij moesten extra kost betalen. 2 de dag stond er plooibed klaar met lakens, maar zonder echte matras. Heel onverzord. Net gedweild, maar voor de rest niks gepoetst: toilet was zelfs nog vuil. Kasten waren in geen jaren open geweest. Buiten enorme rommel. Openbaar vervoer is niet te bereiken zonder auto.

Quiet and relaxing and easy for Rome

We loved staying in Monte Caminetto. It was easy for our adventures into Rome and around Lazio. Our host Emanuela was always available to help with advice and some treats of cheese or suppli we could not have been made more welcome. We even had dinner made for us on one occasion when when family visited, what a treat! The hotel a couple of minutes walk away does a good pizza and is really good value. All in all a really good summer holiday.

Wonderful little cottage not too far outside Rome. Very quite area and convenient by car to rail station for trip into Rome. Owner greeted us on arrival with delicious homemade aperitif and was very helpful. We really enjoyed our short stay and wished we had a longer time in Rome.

eine idyllische Oase der Stille mit guter Anbindung an Rom

Das Ferienhaus Flaminio von Emanuela Arabito in Monte Caminetto (Sacrofano) ist eine idyllische Oase der Ruhe zur idealen Entspannung nach einem anstrengenden Großstadttag. Der Terrassenbereich ist gut eingewachsen und bietet damit einen kühlenden Schatten. Die Eigentümerin Emanuela ist sehr gastfreundlich und kommunikativ. Das Haus ist bestens geeignet für 2 - 4 Personen. Es bietet sich eine gute Waschgelegenheit mit Waschmaschine; die Wäsche kann unauffällig und diskret hinter dem Haus im Freien getrocknet werden. Der Kochbereich ist ausreichend und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Ein guter und treuer Freund und Begleiter war der junge Schäferhund Rex sowie die Katze des Hauses. Etwa sieben Kilometer entfernt befindet sich ein großer Pendlerparkplatz mit einer sehr guten Anbindung einer Stadtbahnlinie nach Rom-Nord (Endstation Montebello) - wochentag verkehrt bis gegen 19 Uhr teils im acht-Minuten-Takt ein Zug; danach bis etwa 23 Uhr halbstündlich. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, wenige Schritte entfernt vom Feriendomizil mit Bussen zum Bahnhaltepunkt Sacrofano zu fahren (gehört noch zur "Zone Rom" des ATAC-Tickets) - die Anbindung ist dabei etwas eingeschränkt. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und eine gute Abrundung zu der wundervollen Stadt Rom. Grazie, Emanuela, e tutte belle cose a Lei!

Halte ombragée à deux pas de la fournaise romaine.

Idéale pour se reposer après une journée chargée d'histoire romaine cette location vous apportera l'assurance d'un repos mérité. Emanuela est aux petits soins, petites gourmandises et bouquet fleuri à l'arrivée, elle sait nous conseiller pour faciliter le séjour. Possibilité de se garer à l'abri dans un garage fermé. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour. La météo n'était pas encore propice au plaisir de cet havre de verdure, la clim réversible a permis de nous réchauffer en fin de journée.

Postazione ideale

La casa di Emanuela è veramente bella. Rustica, in una zona isolata dal caos metropolitano. Il centro di Roma è veramente a pochi minuti di macchina. Emanuela è molto ospitale, e con lei anche la sua famiglia (Rex e Tigrotta compresi). Una miglioria che apporterei è un po' più di accuratezza nella pulizia soprattutto della cucina. Comunque la consiglierei a chiunque.

Un grand merci à Emmanuela qui nous a superbement accueilli. Elle nous a donné de précieux conseils afin d'organiser au mieux notre semaine, très discrète mais toujours une parole amicale . Nous avons passé une très belle semaine , Rome est magnifique, c'est un véritable musée à ciel ouvert / nous avons pris le temps de visiter Sacrofano ( village médieval ) et nous avons rencontré des commerçants très gentils qui nous ont donné de bonnes idées de visites également ( village de Calcatta, Lac de Bracianno...) / Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de cette région et de ses habitants / Nous avons déjà donné les coordonnées de ce gite à nos amis ....
