Selva Di Fasano: 'Trullo' with pine grove in Valle d'Itria

Welcome in a trullo! A typic (and unique) house that you can find only here, in this part of Puglia. My trullo is a calm and silent country house, surrounded by a great park of pines and Mediterranean Wood.
Only 15 minutes to the seaside by car, in the heart of Valle d'Itria: wonderful little towns as Cisternino, Alberobello, Locorotondo... and Ostuni, Castellana Grotte, Martina Franca... the Romanic of Monopoli and the cliff of Polignano...

you are required to have a car: there is only one bus 3/4 times a day from the nearest town (Fasano, 12 km) and no shops around the corner (but they are no more than 2/3 km far,and you have a restaurant-pizzeria at bar, 500m)

the closes airport is Brindisi (62 km, 40') but also Bari is easy to reach (75 km, 50').

3 bedroom (double beds), 1 bathroom (and 1 outdoor shower), kitchen, dining room, living room, terrace...and a lot of trees and shadow.

Ideal for a vacation in family or with a group of friends.

Excellent property and location

This property is amazing and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in contact with nature. The house is very spacious and fully equipped with everything you may need, it is also clean and beautifully furnished with taste and in line with the local spirit. Location is also very good, perfect distance to nearby villages and beaches plus the Selva vegetation keeps you cool even in the hottest weather.

Nice vacation in Selva

The house is beautifully furnished, the kitchen is fully equipped and it is fun to cook in. The garden is large and quiet, nice to relax in. The sea and sandy beach are nearby, but a car is necessary in Selva. We had a very nice vacation in the house and can recommend it to others.

Marvelous Trullo

We have truly enjoyed our stay in this marvelous trullo in Selva di Fasano! The pictures don't do the property justice - it is even better :-) The huge garden was a pleasure for our dog; she ran and loved it incl. laying on the terrace. The communication with the owner was excellent; she was extremely helpful and always responded quickly to any queries we had. We will surely come back - THANK YOU!!

Selva di Fasano

Excellent séjour dans ce trullo idéalement situé dans un immense parc et grâce à ses murs épais nous n’avons pas trop souffert de la chaleur alors que la température extérieure dépassait les 35 degrés.

Séjour dans un trulli

Superbes vacances malgré la température un peu élevée ! Nous aurions apprécie une clim pour la nuit. Sinon la terrasse était tres agreable ainsi que la douche extérieure. Le fait d'avoir de l'eau potable à volonté etait un plus! A recommander!

Stimmungsvolles uriges Ferienhaus mit riesigem Garten

Wir haben uns in dem einfach, aber gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus mit großer, ruhiger Terrasse und riesigem Garten sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Garten ist für Kinder zum Entdecken und Spielen herrlich und jeder kann darin auch ein ruhiges Plätzchen für sich finden. Besonders am Wochenende ist abends Musik aus der Umgebung zu hören, aber damit konnten wir gut leben. Vermutlich wäre es direkt an der Küste viel unruhiger gewesen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett, alles war gut geregelt.

La villa è in una posizione perfetta per chi cerca un'oasi verde di pace e tranquillità. Immersa nel cuore della selva di Fasano, tutta la proprietà trasuda storia. Gli interni, sempre freschi durante l'estate vista la costruzione in pietra e la presenza dei Trulli, sono arredati con gusto ed eleganza, che ben si sposano con il resto della struttura. Altamente consigliato agli amanti della natura.

Tolle Unterkunft!

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Im Haus gab es alles, was man brauchte; der Garten war riesig und lockte für die Kinder mit unzähligen Möglichkeiten. Das Haus ist etwas entfernt vom Meer - wir haben (über eine sehr steile und kurvige Straße) rund 20 Minuten zum Strand gebraucht. Im Ort kann man sich gut mit Grundnahrungsmitteln versorgen und umliegend gibt es viele hübsche Ortschaften zu erkunden.

Ein sehr schönes Trulli im Herzen von Apulien,

mit einer sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Vermieterin. (zur Begrüßung gab es super lecker Focaccia) Der Garten ist riesig mit zahlreichen schattigen Plätzen, unsere 3 Kinder haben sehr gern darin gespielt. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, ein bisschen rustikal und passt zu dem Charakter des Hauses. Uns hat es gut gefallen. Insbesondere die Küche war sehr praktisch und umfangreich fürs Kochen ausgestattet. Die Lebensmittel in dieser Region (insbesondere Gemüse und Fisch) haben eine viel bessere Qualität als in Deutschland, das man gern auch selber kocht. Das Haus verfügt über einen offenen Kamin, Abends haben wir immer gern davor gesessen. Wir waren eine Woche mit unseren Kindern im Oktober (Herbstferien) in dem Haus und waren von der Region Apulien begeistert. Die Wassertemperatur ist mit 22-24 Grad im Meer noch ausreichend um Baden zu gehen. Das Wetter ist mit 25 – 30 Grad am Tag nicht mehr heiß, aber sommerlich warm und mild. Wanderungen und Stadtbesichtigungen mit Kindern machen so auch Spaß. Zum Strand sind es 15 Minuten mit dem Auto, und im Oktober hat man keine Probleme mit dem Parken. Mir persönlich hat Apulien im Herbst besser gefallen als Mallorca. Das Wetter ist beständiger als im westlichen Mittelmeer (jeden Tag Sonnenschein) und die Leute sind wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend in dieser Region. Es gibt sehr viele Städte und malerische Dörfer zu besichtigen. Und beim Essen macht den Italienern sowieso keiner etwas vor. Allein Eis essen ist jedes mal eine Freude.

Bellissimo trullo, attrezzato di tutto ciò che necessita, zona molto piacevole, grande giardino!

Abbiamo trascorso 10 bei giorni. Il trullo antico ci è piaciuto molto.

Endroit paradisiaque

Le confort est un peu rudimentaire mais cela fait partie du charme de cette incroyable maison en Trullo, on a l'impression de revenir au moins 50 ans en arrière. Les propriétaires sont charmants, disponibles. Un séjour inoubliable en famille.

Maison propre et agréable située dans un beau cadre . Mais un effort est à faire concernant la literie d’une chambre ( lits jumeaux avec sommiers métalliques assemblés avec une planche de bois ) confort à désirer . Un four micro ondes dans la cuisine , serait le bien venu . Difficulté à obtenir une production d’eau chaude suffisante lorsque le soleil n’est pas au rendez-vous.

séjour très agréable dans une demeure très accueillante

La demeure très accueillante se trouve située dans un quartier résidentiel. Le fait de se trouver à 400 m au-dessus de la mer permet de profiter du séjour dans un environnement très agréable même en cas de forte chaleur. La brise marine, les arbres nombreux sur le terrain permettent de profiter pleinement du séjour. La maison, avec ses gros murs, est fraîche et les nuits sont très agréables. Très bonne literie. Les restaurants, aux alentours sont de bonne qualité et à prix abordables. Envie d'y retourner au printemps ou à l'automne. Convient à un groupe de 5 à 6 personnes. La propriétaire est très aimable.

Belles vacances!

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances dans une maison typique de la region. Le terrain et la maison étaient très spacieux et la maison fraiche (les murs épais protégeaient de la chaleur). Nous étions également proches de nombreux sites touristiques.

Una bella sorpresa

Una bella casa tradizionale in un ampio giardino con pini e olivi. Un vecchio trullo al fondo del parco. Un quartiere molto simpatico. La casa ha grandi camere e stanze molto silenziose, ben arredate con molta biancheria e tutta comodità. Il nostro soggiorno è stato uno di migliori che abbiamo fato. Siamo pronti a ritornare quà. La perfection!

L'accueil est très sympathique et généreux. La maison est très belle et ancienne, très bien équipée, propre et meublée avec goût. Malgré la grande chaleur du mois de juillet, la maison avec ses murs épais et ses pièces hautes et voutées est restée agréablement fraîche. Les espaces extérieurs, la terrasse et le vaste jardin boisé, offrent un cadre magnifique pour des vacances de tout repos. Nous recommandons avec enthousiasme cette maison!

Per gli amanti della natura

Abbiamo soggiornato per quasi tre settimane in questa casa che si è rivelata accogliente e dotata di quanto serve e anche di quanto probabilmente non vi servirà mai (come ad esempio il termometro nel caso vogliate misurarvi la temperatura). Anche in sei adulti, una bimba di due anni, due cani e un gatto, non abbiamo mai avuto la sensazione di stare stretti, grazie sia alle dimensioni interne ma anche a quelle esterne. Il terrazzo consente di trovarsi a stretto contatto con il verde di una splendida, quanto inattesa per essere in Puglia, pineta. E' poi da citare che le dimensioni esterne del verde sono ampiamente superiori a quelli di un giardino, consentendo di usufruire di vaste zone di natura (gli umani e gli animali ospitati ringraziano). Nel caso poi siate sfortunati nel vostro soggiorno estivo per uno o più giorni di pioggia, sarete subito ripagati, perchè nella pineta spunteranno una serie infinita di funghi! La casa è fresca, sia per tipologia costruttiva che per il microclima in cui si trova (Selva di Fasano è a circa 450 metri di altezza dal livello del mare), inoltre all'esterno avrete la possibilità di stare sempre all'ombra, riparati da alti pini. La posizione consente poi di raggiungere in breve tempo sia il mare che gli affascinanti paesini nelle vicinanze, consentendo così agli ospiti che non conoscono la Puglia di vivere esperienze turistiche in quella che a mio personale parere è la parte più bella di questa regione. Termino con una precisazione: questa casa è fortemente sconsigliata a coloro i quali la mattina vogliono uscire da casa in costume da bagno e tuffarsi in acqua; è però perfetta per gli amanti della natura e per coloro i quali intendono conoscere realmente un luogo e la sua cultura, compresa quella gastronomica!

Merveilleux trulli

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce trulli à SELVA. La maison est dans un grand parc très ombragé,l'endroit est très calme,parfait pour se reposer.L'intérieur est frais ,même par grosse chaleur,il correspond bien aux photos et à la description. il est très bien équipé,nous y avons passé 10jours et nous nous y sommes sentis comme à la maison.C 'est un endroit dans lequel j'aimerai revenir La région est très belle , le village de Selva di Fasano n'est pas grand mais on y trouve tous les bons produits italiens Fin août,nous avons eu quelques moustiques

Quando la realtà supera le aspettative...

Abbiamo trascorso due settimane in pieno relax, dove la realtà ha superato le nostre aspettative, per qualità e autenticità dell'alloggio e della proprietà, gentile e disponibile per ogni necessità, senza mai essere invadente. L'ubicazione è davvero strategica e permette di godere tanto del vicino mare quanto del resto del territorio, evitando le strade di maggior traffico. Immagini e parole tuttavia non possono descrivere la piacevole atmosfera che si crea all'ombra profumata dei pini che circondano l'abitazione, o al suo interno, sempre fresco, anche nei giorni più afosi. E' stato un soggiorno ideale per la mia famiglia, composta da nonni, genitori e figli piccoli.

this house belonged to my ancestors. Me and my brother and sisters spent here summers of our childhood and many others. Now we go there less often. This is the reason we rent it. We love very much this house and we love to share it with people who could appreciate it. It is an historical house, with a lot of stories in its stones.
