The Gulf of Valinco: Propriano is located in the heart of the Gulf of Valinco. The Gulf of Valinco is one of the deepest gulfs in Corsica, equidistant from Ajaccio, Bonifacio, and Porto Vecchio (about 1 hour and 15 minutes) and the wonderful Alta Rocca region with the Bavella Pass (Col de Bavella) for mountain lovers. The perfect starting point for exploring the entire southern part of Corsica. The town offers every conceivable activity and recreational pursuit (boat or catamaran excursions, small speedboats, sailing school, scuba diving, jet skiing, ATVs, parasailing, tubing, horseback riding, tennis courts, and skydiving; an airfield for ultralights; canoeing; and hiking.
The numerous beaches and coves of the Gulf of Valinco will enchant you with their diversity. The fine sand of Campomoro, the wild coves of Belvedère, the large beach of Cupababia, and dozens of other beaches and coves await you... For lovers of prehistoric sites: Filitosa, Cauria...
