Spacious, Secluded RV On Private Lake with Own Access
For a beautiful "glamping" experience, this 27 foot RV is perfect for one or two people looking to unplug & immerse themselves in the beauty & peace of nature. It's on a private peninsula overlooking a very clean, spring fed no wake lake with full lake access. It is rented only from May - October. This 27 foot RV is in a secluded space with a large meditation garden on one side and stairs down to the lake on the other. It has electricity, full bath, refrigerator, stove, oven, water heater, water is drinkable, a very nice queen size bed, & a couch that folds out, a full bath, fridge, stove, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, sheets, towels, dishes, pots & pans, small grill, paddle & row boat, fire pit with firewood for one evening. It has a couch that folds out into a small bed. The comfortable queen size bed is made up and ready for you. Fully heated with an infra red heater which works great in it. If you need, ice, drinks, bait, tackle or gas Tow's Country Store, Charlies Ice Cream, & Dollar General is 2 miles away. Free Wifi is just around the corner at the Spencer Township Library. For groceries and restaurants Greenville, MI 6.5 miles away with Aldis, Meijer, Wallmart. Grand Rapids is 40 minutes away! Lake Michigan is also on 50 minutes away. There is the White Pine Trail for biking & walking. It's 3 - 4 hours from Chicago, 2 hours from Lansing and 50 minutes from the Grand Rapids airport. I live on the lake and there are only two other families on this lake. We have all been coming here since we were kids so it holds a special place in our hearts and we love the privacy and the beauty of this secluded lake. There are no gas motors and the lake is very clean with many springs keeping it that way. It's on a peninsula surrounded by popular trees and the breezes always blow off from the small lake. This lake has no motors on it and is spring fed. It is connected to a larger lake by a channel. Ideal for couples, girlfriends, or a single person looking to unplug from it all and become one with nature. It is teaming with wildlife and is ideal for birding. I have been teaching contemplative walking meditations, offering life transition ceremonies and retreats here in this safe, sacred space for three decades. The restorative energy here is amazing. Many say they feel it as soon as they drive in the driveway! Imagine floating in the small, quiet lake that mirrors the clouds and natural shoreline of the trees. Around you fish are jumping, great heron live here, turtles sunning, birds fishing, dragonflies galore! So bring something to float on. It's 40 minutes away from Grand Rapids which is a fun city to explore. Rockford is 20 minutes and has nice boutiques, restaurants, and a park by the dam. You can rent bikes there for the White Pine Trail or canoes to go down the river. They drop you off and pick you up!

I see that you have given me one star. Since you asked if you could book it for next year because you loved it so much, I am assuming that you were mad because I found out that you had quite a few others over for a party as I found a huge trash bag of beer cans and neighbors mentioned it.

Beautiful, peaceful and quiet :D
Gorgeous and peaceful setting, and so very quiet. Loved it!
Such a quick getaway from it all. Private, and incredibly quiet except for the sounds of nature. It's a great plave if you need a little reset.

Fully stocked RV sitting right on a semi-private lake
While you feel like you are away from it all, amenities such as a Dollar General (<1 mile), Meijer/Walmart (~15 mins) for purchasing essentials are close by. With access to a small portable charcoal grill, fire pit, paddle, and row boat, and fully stocked kitchen, you have everything that you need for a relaxing experience!

Nabil and Valia were wonderful guests. They took great care of the place and left it in wonderful condition. I would welcome them back any time and recommend them to any host. They are respectable and quiet.
Nice private lake and area. A little small but it is a camper after all. Could have used more wood for campfires and good that we brought some wood from home. Could see the lake from the camper with a nice view out every window. Prefect for a weekend getaway.

Hi Marilyn, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay on the lake. I specifically state in the information I give everyone that I supply wood for one fire and that they are responsible for the rest. There are many places to buy wood near by. Thanks, Daina
It's a beautiful wooded setting high atop a hill overlooking a private no-wake lake. I enjoyed daily viewing of many types of wildlife in their natural habitat.
The trailer is perfect for one or two people with all the comforts of home: tv, microwave, stove, refrigerator/freezer, coffe maker, toaster, shower and even a closet. The hostess was very helpful too! An excellent place to rest and recharge.
. Pictures don’t do Justice for property.
: Very secluded and just beautiful to sit back and relax. Camper has everything you need. If not just ask.
The host Dinah is fabulous and great to work with. Will totally be back

Great outdoor escape
My husband and I were looking for a place in Michigan which was quiet, away from it all, by water AND affordable. This place really lived up to all our hopes. We arrived on a Friday and didn't leave the spot till Monday afternoon. Everything was at the place except the food. The RV is quite comfortable even when it got down in the 30's. There was plenty of firewood and we kept a fire going most of the time. The view is wonderful and the lot is secluded and quiet. We loved it.

Glad you used the outdoor fire pit so much. Saw you out on the boat watching the sunsets too! I'm so glad you enjoyed yourselves so much! I'm looking forward to having you back next year. Thanks for the review.
My wife and I were looking for a quiet weekend away and this was perfect! We enjoyed paddle boat rides around the lake, hot dogs roasted over the camp fire, star filled night skies and nature's late summer sounds. The RV was clean and in good condition. The bed was super comfortable. My wife slept 13 hours on our first night! Only one minor complaint. The ad stated there would be a pamphlet on the kitchen table with tips to help enjoy the stay but was no where to be found.

Mark, Thank you for the wonderful review! You were wonderful guests! I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay at Enchanted Acres. It is a special place indeed! I am rewriting the pamphlet and forgot to mention that to you. My printer broke and so am waiting to get it fixed. Hope to see you again next year! Daina
Enchanted acres was just as described. Super peaceful and Daina is a delightful host. My only company for a few days were a couple racoons and some deer. The sounds from the birds, the rustling of the wind through the trees, and the sounds of frogs at night were all perfect. The kitchen was equipped with all the basics. If you to sit in an air conditioned suite with a big screen TV this isn't the place for you. If you want to spend your day outside, and have a cozy shelter at hand it should be perfect for you. It took me less than an hour to get there from Grand Rapids, but it yet it seemed so far from home. I look forward to another visit.

Vacation in Michigan
The property was quiet with a lot of trees and over looking a peaceful lake. Sleeping was comfortable. Saw deer, rabbits, wild turkeys and cranes. Heard the geese flying over head. Didn't spend much day light hours there as were visiting family and friends. Found a Big Boy in Greenville that was good for breakfast. Owner picked up trash about every three days. Was sad that as a senior with back and knee problems that I couldn't get down to the lake as there is no railing by the steps. Also a lot of bugs outside making it hard to sit outside. The porta potty has a septic system but when we opened it to drain, the owner closed it again. We left it closed but the odor was awful. This is a great place for younger people who want privacy and would recommend to my younger friends if they are wanting some place in that area.

I'm glad the bed was comfortable for you and that you enjoyed your stay. I saw that you had changed the switch on the septic and this is what caused the problem. There was a lot of back up when you left and the problem was that you changed the switch. I would have preferred that you speak to me about this instead of positing on the review. No one else has had this problem before.

Perfectly Peaceful Getaway
We had an absolutely wonderful time at Daina's Vintage RV in the woods! It was perfectly peaceful, the RV was comfortable and clean, the view scenic and lake was clear, beautiful, and full of fun fishing and kayaking--even in the rain! I caught the biggest, fattest bass of my life! And we caught crappie, pike and bluegill too. All catch and release so they can grow up! We thoroughly enjoyed the campfire, loved that you provided all the firewood and kindling. It was just perfect. Everything we needed and then some was right there. We will bring a canopy next time to cover the lawn chairs and table in case of rain since the RV awning cannot come out in the rain. The only thing we would like to suggest is a little wider clear access to the lake just where you launch kayaks (or paddleboats) The branches are hard to clear with fishing poles in the boats and there is not a clear (tree free) place to fish from shore. Thank you for being such a kind, thoughtful hostess Daina. We will be back soon as we can!

I am so glad you enjoyed your experience at Enchanted Lake Laura. Was so impressed with the big bass you caught!! Fishing is great here. Glad you enjoyed having camp fires as well. Thank you for suggesting that I clear a bit more for future renters down the stairs from the RV to their private beach and boat. I will take your suggestion and do a bit more clearing, but like to keep a little row of trees and bushes down by the lake as my main focus is four people to have as much privacy as possible. Am looking forward to having you again. Thanks for your wonderful review.
What an enjoyable stay! The well appointed RV was just the right mix of comfort and rustic, with just the right “up north “ feel. The lake was beautiful with trees in their autumn glory! (And the weather was perfect!). Many thanks to Daina for sharing this beautiful spot. Already planning our next stay!
Great little place to stay! Glad I stumbled upon this! Perfect location, on the water, private and secluded. Enjoyed having coffee in the mornings overlooking the water. Pics and description are spot on. This camper is very clean and has everything you need. Looking forward to going back next year! Thank you, Daina!
Had a wonderful time, returning visitors. Camper is bigger and better than the previous one. The outdoor area is even more enjoyable. Property owner is always friendly and helpful. Great time.
The RV was basic, good kitchen and living room. Very neat and clean. But had too many levels, step up from living area to hall, another one to bed area, another to side of bed. Not a good idea for anyone with mobility issues. Outside was rustic, peaceful and relaxing.

Thanks for your review Carolyn. I had no idea you had mobility issues! It may have been a good idea to ask me about it. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and otherwise found the camper and outdoors mobility user friendly. Daina
We had a lovely time. It was better than we expected. Very peaceful and relaxing. The local people was very friendly which made it even that much better. We definitely what to come stay again. We will keep this as a favorite for us.

Very cozy and beautiful scenery. Great getaway spot to relax.
My husband and I spent a lovely weekend for our 1st year anniversary and we enjoyed every second. It was so calm and cozy, we walked around the property, grilled, enjoyed a canoe ride and paddle boat which were provided. Overall it was a great experience the RV was well kept and Dinah was a great host. We cannot wait to come back maybe in the summer next time.

Lovely location and setting! All the amenities needed for easy, peaceful getaway.
What a beautiful setting!! The trees, the lake, the areas to walk, rest, meditate...it took only a minute for us to unwind and unplug!! Instant peace and happiness for my daughter and I. We enjoyed the paddle boat and brought inflatable floats for the lake. The lily pads, blooms, trees, water, sunshine-paradise!
We enjoyed Mass at a nearby country Parish and lunch at Founders Brewery in GR. Fires late into the night and meals al fresco were also highlights. Bring plenty of bug spray!
This time and place helped deepen our friendship and renew our spirits. Filled with gratitude.

About the host
Hosted by Daina (Dinah) Puodziunas
My mother found this property and lake in the mid 60's.I used to stay here in the summers as a child with my grandparents in their RV. I raised my daughters here and am passing it on to my grand children. There are only two other families on the lake and they have been coming here as children as well!! So it's special to us and we love it.
Why they chose this property
Great fishing, lots of wildlife, no gas motors so it's a clean, spring fed lake. It's beautiful, relaxing, and rejuvenating. It is very private. You have your own meditation garden and views of nature from every window with no other buildings or people around. There are many nature sounds and your private area is on about an acre and a half. This property is located 40 minutes to downtown Grand Rapids, 50 minutes to Lake Michigan. it is close to breweries, the White Pine trail to rent and ride bikes or walk, Rockford (20 minutes away) which has cute boutiques, a damn by a beautiful park, and canoes to rent to float down the Flat River. Meijer, Aldis, Wallmart, restaurants are 15 minutes away in Greenville. The property is close enough for folks from Chicago, Lansing, Ann Arbor, or Detroit to find it great for a weekend get away.
What makes this property unique
It is on a no wake, spring fed, very clean lake and has no public access so it's very private and usually very quiet. Great for bird watchers. You have your own fire pit, a small grill, a paddle and row boat in your own private area. It's only 40 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and 15 minutes from great restaurants, quaint shops and boutiques in Rockford. You can rent canoes in Rockford to go down the river if you want or rent bicycles to do down the White Pine Trail. PJ Hoffmaster - my favorite Lake Michigan beach is only 50 minutes door to door!! Come visit Art Prize in downtown Grand Rapids from Sept. 21 to Oct. 9. Come home, have an outdoor fire, pour a drink and relax to the sounds of nature.
