The house was easy to get to and right on the lake. The grandkids loved the fishing and swimming off the dock. The layout of the house worked for multiple families to be together but still have their own space. The house could use a little landscape cleanup but house still good formis

Family Fun

We had a wonderful time with our family for our 50th anniversary. Nice big place. Online pics need updated. It was nicer than pics show. Also only 1 set of bunks not 2. Host wasn't really easy to contact but would eventually respond. Overall we had a wonderful time. Plenty of water toys and things for us to use during our stay. It was great!

The check-in was stressful - couldn’t get a hold of the owner to get the code to enter. Had to go through VRBO manager for him to get a hold of him.The pictures should be updated. The whole home and yard needs some updates. The kitchen had some dirty dishes and silverware in the drawer. There were no garbage bags for the kitchen until the next day. The kitchen blinds only had one that worked and one had tin foil over it to block out the sun.The inside of the bedrooms was nice. The outside and the parking needed updates. Very difficult to get vehicles up the hill to the road.

Great place for a large group!

We had ana amazing time at this property. Our group included 5 families (10 adults and 7 children aged 3 to 16 years). There was plenty of room and the place was very clean. Plenty of room for 5 vehicles and the dock with extended area for hanging out and fishing was thoroughly enjoyed. There is a Dollar General and large Conoco within about 10 minutes of the house where you can get just about anything you could need last minute. The caretakers were some of the nicest, kindest people I have ever met. They are very welcoming and helpful. You can't go wrong renting this property!

Family Vacation 2023

Perfect location on the lake. View of lake and sunsets were amazing. Morning coffee on the deck was peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of room for family with kids. Two slips for boats but do not bring boats to the house. Put in the water at nearest boat dock before coming to the property. Parking was a little tricky but we managed two pickup trucks and SUV and boat trailer and small pull trailer just fine. Fishing off the dock was a lot of fun. We brought a lily pad for floating next to the dock. Great cove to kayak with family. Hot tub was fine. The outside of the property could use some updating but overall it was an amazing time.

Annual Family Vacation

This will be our 3rd maybe 4th year of staying at this property. We have always loved it! However,this year, the hot tub leaked. We were aware of roof damage. Beds, clean. Door knobs were starting to fall off or missing altogether. The hall first floor bath door fell of it's hinges with very little useage. Many outlets no longer worked. The WiFi was once again down. Overall, the main looming issue causing us to call the property manager(Jake), who arrived promptly. The far back bedroom floor and all along back wall into 2nd family room was totally water soaked. Dangerous with little ones and 2 people with lung conditions, possibly contributing to black mold development. We soaked up many towels and emltied the dehumidifier at least 9 times daily. Needless,to say. We love staying here but feel some conditions had deteriorated greatly since the previous year. Would hope the owner would give some compensation to faithful, conscientious renters, who would love to continue renting. Otherwise, a beautiful home. We have so many memories! We

Great family gathering place

Overall, this is a great house for a family gathering. Was amazed at all the amenities provided. Large deck for enjoying the view, patio area with fire pit, hot tub, and the dock was excellent for fishing and swimming.

Needed lots of bedrooms and character which house had. Dark and dated inside. Beautiful view of lake but windows very dirty, old coffee filter left in coffee maker and hair in hot tub. No WI-FI was an issue for our group. It wasn’t advertised, but I assumed it would have it? Treacherous, steep, dirt, gravel, driveway, one of our cars got stuck. We arrived in heavy rain. The worst was a freak accident on the dock where family member was simply standing fishing, and cement block broke, causing him to fall through the dock with leg injury. We should have been immediately offered a full refund.

Older home but perfect for our needs

We had an issue with the a/c not working when we arrived so it was quiet hot throughout the house. However the property manager was very responsive and got a technician out that evening. The whole house stayed nice and cool the rest of the time. The house is older but accommodated our family of 17's needs. There was plenty of rooms for everyone and more than enough bathrooms that no one was ever waiting for one. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and utensils which was amazing. We were also grateful that we didn't have to bring towels or bedding. The outside areas were great. The kids loved being able to get in the hot tub a couple times. The screened in gazebo was great in the evening. We loved being able to watch the one's fishing from that area. The dock was well used and the family loved how clean and big it was. Overall we were very satisfied with this rental and would consider renting again.

Perfect for a large family

This is our 3rd time renting this house. It is perfect for large families. A little out dated and some things need maintenance and a little TLC but you can easily have a great time. Water is very deep and clean but Swim ladder is a little difficult to get up and down. Will definitely be back.

We had a great time. We learned you must want a boat to go anywhere otherwise drive 40 plus minutes. Take life jackets as there was only 3 there, a Lily pad or just jump in the lake. Very relaxing nice quiet spot. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying again.

Annual Summer vacation

We had so much fun! Cooler than normal with more rain than normal. We stayed here last year, so we knew what to expect. We really utilized the large hot tub this time. So happy for that I feature. The property is older but huge for a big crowd! The price is right for 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The only downside was,no WiFi and 2 people needed to work remotely. We very much missed that in this day and age. Great time! Recommend this VRBO!

Family retreat at the lake.

Truly enjoyed the close proximity to the lake in addition to the secluded location. Out of the hustle and bustle we encountered at our previous stays. This property accommodated all of our large groups needs.

Family week at the Lake

Uncle Kens house was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms that everyone has their own space. The outside space was the best! Nice dock, covered deck area that always had a breeze, and deck overlooking the lake. We will definitely be back

Labor Day Tradition

For the last 4 years we have traveled to the Ozarks for an end of summer Hoorah. Typically we’ve rented a couple condos in the same complex, but decided to try a place that could accommodate our party of 16 under one roof. Everyone loved it! It was great to have our older teen and 20 something kids together under one roof with aunts and uncles! The bedrooms were ample giving everyone a space to call their own. The second living area was perfect as the “man cave”. The multi tiered decks and outdoor living space provided plenty of area for us to all eat together and enjoy the beautiful view! (We did invest in a couple yellow jacket traps as they were quite plentiful the first day) The house was well equipped and had plenty of cooking utensils, pans etc. there was a keurig though we didn’t notice it in the pictures. The only thing missing was a blender which we required for our frozen drinks, thankfully Dollar General had a small Ninja type thing that worked well for us. The dock was awesome for hanging out, fishing and swimming. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub! The only challenge for some was the steepness of the drive (that’s why I don’t have a sports car lol) The location was perfect for us as we didn’t want to go to too many places. By boat there are many more options for restaurants/entertainment, but Jolly Rogers was just a short drive and the live band the night we went was awesome! Thank you for sharing your home with us! My friends have already asked me for the link to book it next year!

Our family has been visiting this property for many years. It is in a quiet cove and there is great swimming off the dock. By water it is very close to restaurants that we enjoy. It offers enough room that a large group can stay together but still have some privacy.
