Three bedroom fully furnished home in small-town Northeast Iowa

Grandma Z's offers a fully furnished three bedroom, two bathroom room for short term rentals in Alta Vista, Iowa, which is a small town in northeast Iowa. A second home, The Recker House, is located directly across the street should you need additional room for a larger family gathering, etc.

Grandma Z's is a great spot for family gatherings, including weddings, reunions, funerals as well as short term work assignmentss, a low-cost get away to a small town that bills itself as 'The Friendly Town,' hunting groups, bridal showers, birthday gatherings, or for those times when you want your guests close but not underfoot.

When you arrive, the beds will be made and towels will be in the bathroom. You will find the kitchen is well supplied with cooking and dining supplies. Paper products such as paper towels and toilet paper are also provided. Kitchen appliances are full sized and include a smooth top stove, refrigerator with an ice maker and a dishwasher. A washer and dryer are located on both the main level and the lower level.

Two bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed are located on the main floor with a full bath (tub/shower combination) located off the hallway between the bedrooms. One bedroom has a ceiling fan and the second bedroom has patio doors that open onto the deck. Guests report leaving the patio door curtain open allows them to enjoy the fireflies on summer evenings.

Cable TV is available on both the flat screen SMART television located in the living room as well as the flat screen SMART TV located in the family room on the lower level.

The living room couch makes out into a full sized bed. The lower level bedroom has an egress window and is equipped with a queen sized bed. One of the loveseats in the family room on the lower level folds out into a single bed plus the daybed located in the family room can be used as a single bed. So with three bedrooms and the fold-outs, the house can sleep ten people.

Wireless internet is available at the house. There is a computer in the lower level.

The lower level has a kitchen area as well as a bathroom with a shower.

A covered patio area includes a picnic table. In addition, there is a deck with a dining table and chairs. Since the house borders on a farm field, the patio and deck areas are a great place to enjoy a quiet, peaceful, and private evening.

The house can be rented by the day, week or month.
