For lovers of nature and peace. Residence which has its origins in the Middle Ages, renovated with local materials. We wanted to combine comfort and simplicity while respecting the place and the region. Hikes on foot, on horseback or by bicycle, observation of nature and game, or rest in a peaceful setting. 50 minutes from major places in Burgundy, such as Fontenay Abbey, Dijon, capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, Alésia, route des grands crus, etc.
Former commandery of the Templars in a small village of 20 inhabitants at an altitude of 500 m, large terrace of 70 m², large garden with superb views and private swimming pool, private tennis court (for 2 houses), sparsely populated and rural region. A corner of Burgundy to discover! Enjoy the starry nights, the silence, the panoramic landscapes, game and small villages to discover, with wash houses, small Romanesque churches, medieval fortifications, ...
A little paradise in the Burgundy countryside, in the Côte d'Or.

Big friendly family home

5days with friends in Montenaille

We spend five days with a group of 11 friends in Montenaille. Cycling (very hilly…), hiking, relaxing at the pool and un the garden, nice evenings at the fireplace…. We really enjoyed our stay!

a perfect weekend

very impressive historic place, the outdoor is perfect to spend a week end with friends and many kids ! large pool, kids playground, superbe view, great tennis, beautiful running trail - and the couple handling the keys are the nicest people !! a special thanks to them.

An amazing property in a quiet location

This is an amazing property with an Incredible history. The owners have done a brilliant restoration job. It was quite something to see it let alone stay there. The grounds are spacious and private with a wonderful view. The pool is great - it was quite chilly for us so the kids couldn’t spend long in it at a time. The tennis court was super. You need to take all of your own bedding, and towels. Cleaning is done by last participants and you at the end of your stay. There are helpful property caretakers. It’s a quiet village in the middle of the countryside. We had a splendid trip overall. Thank you.

Incredible property, beautiful and secluded

We stayed with friends for a long weekend and everyone enjoyed the stay. A big warning for international travelers, they don’t include sheets and towels. If our friends did not live in France, this would have been a deal breaker. The Chateau is in great condition and has many amenities. It is an historical building in the countryside, which means it is rustic and there are not a lot of services nearby. The village is small and the residents are friendly, but they are busy with farming and daily activities. So, communicate early with your contact to arrange check in and out

Sehr saubere Unterkunft. Man fühlt sich aufgrund der Lage sehr ungestört. Es gibt reichlich Platz für alle. Die Anlage bietet soviel Möglichkeiten. Ob Tennis, Pool, Grillen oder einfach relaxen. François die uns bei der Übergabe der Schlüssel empfangen hat war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. #RockHoch

Parfait pour week end entre amis

Tout était parfait, maison très grande et très bien, conforme aux photos figurant dans l’annonce. Accueil très sympathique. Seul bémol, les odeurs de la ferme d’à côté, omniprésentes a l’extérieur et très incommodantes. (Dommage !)

Excellent week-end passé dans ce gîte. Communication très bonne pour l'arrivée et le départ et même en amont. Un séjour agréable, pas de chance pour nous on a pas pu profiter de la piscine à cause de la pluie mais beaucoup d'équipement sur place, de nombreux couchages et tout était très bien entretenu. Je recommande!

Familienwochenende

Besuch in Dijon und Umgebung. Haus idyllisch, aber abgelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Supermark in ca. 22 km Distanz Beim Bauern in der Nähe konnten wir Fleisch und Käse kaufen. Leider war das Wetter nicht schön. Konnten weder den Tennisplatz noch den Pool benutzen. Ping-Pong-Tsich hat uns gerettet. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit. Ich hatte bei der Anzahlung nicht realisiert, dass man Bettwäsche usw. selber mitnehmen muss.

un week end magique

une bâtisse superbe, très fonctionnelle, bien agencée, une multitude de chambres, lits, salle d'eau. Il y a un grand nombre de vaisselle, idem pour les chaises et table à manger interieur/exterieur. le terrain est superbe, grand et plat, les enfants peuvent jouer dehors, courir en toute sécurité. Nous avons trouvé l'année dernière cette bâtisse pour des retrouvailles entre amis avec des enfants, nous avons renouvelé cette année et comptons revenir l'année prochaine. Les enfants parlent du lieu comme "le château" tellement la propriété est grande. les propriétaires, tout comme les personnes en charge de la remise des clés, sont adorables, flexibles. la communication est fluide. Je recommande à 400 %

A trip worth - especially for families

The description of the house keeps what it promises. We (2 families with 6 children) had a wonderful week in Burgundy. Communication with the owners and on-site caretakers was easy and good. The house offers everything for " young and old ": charm, space and plenty of peace and quiet. The pool was perfect, the tennis court is fantastically located and you can make many nice trips from there. If there is anything at all to note (but is communicated in advance), then it would be two things: bed sheets should be brought and the final cleaning must be done yourself. We personally would prefer to pay extra for this, but of course that is a matter of view. Overall, very recommendable.
