The host was easy going and excellent to deal with. The property is really well located, a couple of kilometres outside Castellamare del golfo and very close to places such as Scopello. The property could do with a little modernising but honestly, we had a thoroughly good stay and would go back to the same villa again.

Nice home with good location

The house was very nice and big with all that we needed for the stay.The host was very helpful, and even came with cake on my son's birthday. It would be good, if there was aircondition in the bedrooms and kitchen, but that is only thing missing.

A beautiful place

The house in Castellamare del Golfo is a small paradise, just as seen in the photos and description. It offers complete peace and quiet, and a small, tranquil (in October), beautiful beach is just a few hundred meters away. We took some great trips by car around the area. The hosts, Vincenzo Mancuso and his mother, are very warm and always open to questions. We would love to come back!

Awesome house and great host

The house is well positioned, comfortable and spacious. There is a big garden and peaceful terrace from where is possible to enjoy a nice biew. Vincenzo is very friendly and helpful and always available to recomend some great place to visit or some special local dish to try. Best choice ever.

Fabulous garden and views

We really enjoyed our stay here. The Villa was well equipped with everything we needed. As others have said the kitchen could do with modernising and the electrics did trip a few times. As the weather was chilly, we weren’t able to open the shutters, so it felt a bit dark at times. The outside space was wonderful and my teenage son enjoyed making fires in the bbq area! We had a problem with the tv which Vincenzo sorted out promptly and even brought us an Easter egg which was a lovely touch. We would stay here again, maybe in summer when it was a bit warmer and we could fully appreciate the outdoor space and location. Thanks for a great stay!

Ci siamo trovato molto bene. Eravamo in due famiglie, 4 adulti e 4 bambini e abbiamo trovato la casa spaziosa e pulita, dotata di tutti i comfort necessari, ampio giardino attorno pieno di alberi da frutta, 3 comode camere da letto, 2 bagni, doccia interna e doccia esterna. La veranda è sempre fresca e ombreggiata, anche nelle giornate più calde.L'host è stato molto disponibile e premuroso!

Erholsamer Urlaub

Am Anreisetag trafen wir uns mit Vincenzo bei einem nahegelegenen Parkplatz. Er begrüßte uns freundlich und wirkte sofort sympathisch. Er zeigte uns dann den direkten Weg zu dem Haus. Er übergab uns das Haus in einem guten Zustand und erklärte uns alles was wichtig ist. Er sagte uns das wir ihn jederzeit um Rat bitten dürfen und er 24/7 für uns da ist. Dies können wir auch nur bestätigen. Egal ob Fragen mit dem WLAN oder zu Restaurantreservierungen. Er half uns jedesmal sehr schnell und war immer sehr freundlich. Vincenzo ist ein perfekter Gastgeber! Der Garten lädt zum naschen ein. Von Weintrauben über Feigen bis hin zu Zitronen, konnten wir alles nutzen und essen. Das Haus liegt ca 15 Gehminuten vom Meer entfernt. Die Straße ist befahren aber die Fahzeuge passen auf. Der Strand ist steinig (Kiesel) aber wunderschön. Nur im Wasser in der Nähe des Ufers liegen ein paar unangenehmere Steine. Abends ist die Gegend sehr ruhig. Und die Terrasse lädt zum verweilen ein. Kurz gesagt, wir 6 (13 bis 70J) mit 2 Hunden hatten einen unvergesslich schönen Urlaub! Danke an Vincenzo und wir kommen wieder!

Everything extremely nice - alles super.

The house is extremely nice; good space; nice terrace with good shade; a nice property with fruit trees; all in a very nice location. We were 6 people, our kids now being young adults - the space was fine, there are 1.5 bathrooms plus the outside shower. Vicenzo was extremely helpful with everything, bringing us beach towels, giving hints, helping with luggage storage after we left. We had a beautiful vacation! Das Haus ist sehr schön mit ausreichend Platz, schöner Terrasse mit viel Schatten; ein schönes Grundstück mit Obstbäumen; alles in einer sehr schönen Lage. Wir waren 6 Personen, unsere Kinder waren mittlerweile junge Erwachsene – der Platz war absolut in Ordnung, es gibt 1,5 Badezimmer und eine Außendusche. Vicenzo war bei allem äußerst hilfsbereit, hat uns Badehandtücher gebracht, gab Tipps und hat uns bei der Gepäckaufbewahrung bei unserer Abreise geholfen. Alles in allem ein wunderschönen Urlaub!

Freistehendes Ferienhaus mit Garten, Berg- und Meerblick

Das Ferienhaus ist einladend mit schöner Terrasse und einem großen eingezäunten Grundstück. Auf der Vorderseite des Hauses spenden Pinien Schatten. Im Haus befindet sich eine gut eingerichtetes Esszimmer mit Küche, ein Wohnzimmer, ein Bad mit Dusche, ein separates WC und drei Schlafzimmer. Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Frühjahr sehr genossen und können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Tutto perfetto

Ho soggiornato per un solo giorno per motivi di lavoro. Sono un agente televisivo e ci stiamo occupando di strutture ricettive. Mi sono trovato davvero molto bene. Il signor Vincenzo è stato molto disponibile in tutto. La casa molto pulita e situata vicino il mare. Pace e tranquillità hanno fatto da padrone durante il mio soggiorno. Consigliato!

Ein sehr toller Urlaub

Das Haus liegt sehr schön, um den Westen der Insel zu erkunden. Alles ist in nahezu einer Stunde erreichbar…auch am Haus hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Die riesige Veranda, die gemütliche Schaukel unter dem Olivenbaum, die Zitronenbäume…sehr erholsam! Zum Haus selbst kann ich nur sagen…es war alles da was man braucht. Die Waschmaschine hat zwar so ihre Macken (Wasser pumpt so langsam, dass sie immer abschaltet), aber egal, sie funktionierte mit etwas Einfallsreichtum. Das einzige was gestört hat, war die Sauberkeit zur Übergabe. Wir mussten hier nochmal nachbessern…Toilette und Dusche sollten meiner Meinung nach schon einen gewissen Standard haben, auch im Süden. Teils witzig und hilfreich fanden wir die diversen Sammlungen an Spiel- und Badeutensilien (bestimmt vorangegangener Gäste), welche in den Schränken aufbewahrt werden. Der Strand in der Nähe war okay, aber die Parkgebühren sind (wie eigentlich überall) teils utopisch, zumal auch im Oktober jetzt nicht mehr Hochsaison ist. Zum Strand sind wir auch nicht gelaufen, da die Straße doch sehr befahren ist und durch einen fehlenden Fußweg nicht gerade sicher erschien. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Haus und Vincenzo ein sehr aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber…man konnte ihn jederzeit etwas fragen und bekam eine schnelle Antwort.

Ruhig gelegene tolle Villa

Wir haben uns mit dem Vermieter in Castellammare del Golfo getroffen und er hat uns zum Haus geleitet. Dieses ist ca 45 Minuten vom Flughafen Palermo entfernt. Zum Kieselstrand sind es zu Fuß 10 Minuten. Leider gibt es nur eine zweispurige Straße zum Strand, ohne Bürgersteig. Jedoch machen alle Platz. Alternativ gibt es genügend Parkplätze am Strand, diese kosten jedoch 5 Euro pro Tag. Das Haus hat eine tolle Außendusche, die wir jeden Tag genutzt haben. Ein herrlicher Blick von der großen gemütlichen Terassse UND vom Flachdach. Schöne Olivenbäume, Pinien und Wein umgeben das Haus. Großer Kühlschrank und Klimaanlage sind auch erwähnenswert. Zwei Bäder, eines davon mit Dusche. Kleine Minuspunkte: Küchenausstattung ist mangelhaft. die Pfannen sind ohne Beschichtung, die einzigste mit halbwegs Beschichtung hat keinen Griff. Hier mal knapp 100 Euro investieren ;-) Schließlich ist man ja im Haus Selbstversorger. Weiterhin sind einige Fliegengitter beschädigt und alle Türen zu den 3 Schlafzimmern klappern. Wir haben sie abends mit Taschentüchern festgeklemmt. Etwas Dichtband wäre hilfreich. In einem Zimmer gibt es nur einen kleinen Schrank mit drei Schubladen, davon sind 2 kaputt. Auf dem Dach liegen zwei völlig verottete Liegen. Was schade ist, weil wir jeden Tag oben waren, uns den schönen Sternenhimmel anschauen. Auch die Sitzauflagen sind böse vergammelt. 500 Euro und etwas Zeit investieren- und es wäre perfekt. So sind es aber immerhin 90 von 100 Punkten ;-)

Logement agréable mais qui doit etre mieux entretenu

Vincenzo est très accueillant, aidant et réactif. Malheureusement, il doit investir dans l'entretien de la maison. Points positifs : - maison bien située, avec un beaux jardin et de l'ombre - literie ok, SDB refaite - possibilité de cueillir des fruits et légumes sur le terrain Points d'amélioration : - l'électricité n'est pas aux normes et dangereuse. l'installation est en plus sous dimensionnée : impossible d'utiliser le four et le chauffe eau en meme temps sans faire disjoncter le tableau. Nous avons eu un incendie dans la maison nous obligeant à être relogé pendant une nuit - le chauffe eau de 30 litre n'est pas suffisant pour 5 personnes - la climatisation doit être révisée car le moteur fait beaucoup de bruit - il n'y a pas de vitre aux fenêtres des pièces de vie. La maison n'est pas adaptée pour une occupation en mi saison - moustiquaires arrachées - la machine à laver ne fonctionne pas - fuite d'eau sous l'évier de la cuisine - A savoir aussi que la maison donne sur l'accès principal à Scopello donc il y a beaucoup de passage de voiture et un peu de bruit qui peut déranger les plus exigeants Nous avons fait part de ces sujets à Vincezo. Nous recommandons aux prochains locataires de s'assurer que ces problèmes ont été réglés, ce dont nous ne doutons pas vu la bonne volonté du propriétaire
