Old chestnut drying renovated in 1996. Independent house isolated character. Living room, kitchen. 1 c. with 1 bed 2 pers. and 1 bed 1 pers. Bathroom, 1 separate WC. Electric heating., Fireplace (free wood insert). 2 terraces. Court and unfenced. All charges included. Shops at Montsalvy at 7 km. Aurillac 37 km. Lot Valley. Conques. Basic Canoeing Vieillevie. Cantal mountains, many walking trails. very quiet, ideal for rest.
Altitude 535 m. Access by dirt road. Possible additional beds in the annex.
Price 260 € in low season and 400 € July / August the week.
Possibility courses stays in low season, 2 nights 130 €, 3 nights 173 €, 4 nights 195 €.

Small and bijou

I'm glad that we mainly had good weather as the place is too small to sit in for long periods plus the seating in the living area is very uncomfortable. If you're a big (fat) person you would struggle to get into the shower as you have to squeeze yourself between the basin and the open door to get to it. It really needs a sliding door fitting to make access easier. Now for the good points. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the sunny days and evenings living in the middle of the Forrest. The garden was beautiful. Other reviews said it was difficult to find which I disagree with, if you can read a map and do a bit of homework before setting off it's straightforward to find. The wifi was an unexpected bonus.

Dépaysement total avec une superbe vue

Randonnées tres bien indiquées dans la region. Très beaux villages. A 10 minutes de Montsalvy avec boulangerie et magasins. Restaurant le pichet mignon à Mont avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. Le gîte devrait être classé gite panda vu les nombreux animaux rencontrés : milan royal, carabe, pivert, couleuvre, ... . ! PETIT GÎTE ! Route sinueuse pour y arriver mais tellement belle. Superbe séjour au calme dans la nature.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans ce gite magnifique au milieu de la forêt avec une très belle vue. Notre petite chienne était la bienvenue et s'ébattait en toute liberté. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme, les équipements et l'accueil de nos hôtes. Nous recommandons vivement.

Séjour magnifique

Un séjour tel que nous le voulions dans ce gîte parfait pour qui cherche le calme dans un endroit de paix au milieu de la nature. Une région superbe, des paysages époustouflants, vraiment un beau terroir. Ballades, parties de pêche, visites, cuisine.... Et pour ne rien gâter des propriétaires d'une grande gentillesse!

Gîte "Ancien sécadou" très bien aménagé avec une belle vue

Magnifique environnement pour ce gîte hors du commun. Très bon accueil des hôtes qui sont très flexibles, accommodants et plein de ressources pour mon chien qui était malade dès le début du séjour (médicaments, coordonnées du vétérinaire, etc...). Un tout grand merci !

Une semaine estivale au calme total, à l'ombre des châtaigniers, au bout du chemin, du bout de la route , au bout du sud du département du Cantal (15) & nord de l'Aveyron (12). Pour amateurs de ruralité, de grands espaces quand dehors et de petits espaces quand dedans !

Pour amateurs de solitude au coeur d'une nature sauvage.

Dans un cadre grandiose, 2 maisonnettes typiques de la région se fondant dans le paysage et idéalement agencées pour un confort parfait. Les propriétaires sont aussi charmants que discrets.
