Very relaxing. We came at the best time at the end of Summer so it was very quiet. We love how close it was to Lake Michigan only a 7 minute walk. Will definitely come back.

Wonderful place right on the lake

Peaceful, clean home on the lake. We went for thanksgiving and the kitchen was so well stocked, I could make a holiday meal here! We loved the place and will likely be back.

Lake view was perfection. Location to pool, activities, can’t be beat. 8 person table inside, plus island stools and 6 person table outside was great for group of 9. 2 of 4 bedrooms more appropriate for kids or teens as dormer ceilings made getting in/out bed a challenge for adults. Beds and linens not of high quality. Large main level bedroom and bath perfect for senior citizens. A/C worked well in upper 70’s, low 80’s weather. Kitchen well stocked. Not enough beach towels for everyone and no beach chairs or toys. Large gap in walkway to boardwalk difficult for the seniors in our group to navigate. 5 parking per car and 15 activity bands, per person

Great time and location

Loved the house and set up. Lots of space. My wife and I and our five adult kids all stayed and we had plenty of room. Great screened in porch area and beautiful view of Lake Kai. Highly recommend.

Nice view from screen porch and quick access to clubhouse. Size of the beach and qualty of sand at Lake Michigan access down street exceeded expectations. Interior of home in great shape, clean and kitchen well equipped. Exterior plus landscaping around home front back and along with lakeside patio/firepit area needs a refresh.

The location of the house is great. Close to pool, park, and fishing pier. Beachwalk is a great resort community overall. Rustic but charming. We stayed at the end of a busy summer so expected some wear and tear. Beds were comfy, the screen porch lovely right on Lake Kai. That being said the carpet smelled, pet hair on sofa and the kitchen didn’t have enough items to make a meal, just the bare minimum. (Pots,pan, utensils, mixing bowls- looked like they were picked from a garage sale)

The two concerns we had was that the upstairs temperature vs the downstairs temperature was night and day. The people sleeping downstairs were freezing, while the people upstairs were sweating. Also, one of the primary sinks didn't drain well. Other than that, we had a great time

It was right on the lake which provided a great view and was very close to the pool/lake activities/park/Lake Michigan. The house was a good size and layout for our 2 families which included 4 adults and 3 kids under 3. The outside could definitely use some upkeep but the inside was well maintained. The house also included chairs and umbrellas that we brought to Lake Michigan. We would definitely stay here again!

My only suggestion would be that there is some ants in the kitchen that you may want to spray and it would be nice if the screened in patio was cleaned a bit. There is a lot of stuff on the screens that make it hard to see out. Plus there is just a lot of cobwebs everywhere.

Graduation Getaway

We stayed with another family to celebrate a HS graduation. Was a really fun community with a lot of great activities! The house was really nice and perfect for two small families! The property managers were awesome! The house had a MAJOR plumbing issue upon arrival. Turns out that tree roots drilled through and clogged the main sewage line out to the street. This is entirely NOT the fault of the manager/owner, still they had an emergency plumber arrive within an hour on a Friday night to clean the line out. As they say, $h!t happens, LOL, but the property managers were rockstars about it!

Everyone is super helpful and kind. If the putting green had a putter and balls that would have been nice. Also it would be helpful if each house was required to have a wagon to get to lake MI. We brought one but it would have been nice if the house came with one. Over it's a perfect spot for young families.
