Excellent Holiday

There were 8 of us that stayed here and we all loved it! The house is amazing and the pool is amazing. It’s got everything you need for a fantastic holiday. Frederic is a wonderful host and made us all feel welcome. Our only issue was finding out on the day of arrival that we needed to pay a cash holding deposit and also an extra cleaning charge which wasn't explained before hand. Over all though, a brilliant property and we will definitely be going back.

This is a very comfortable property and well positioned just outside the village (5 min walk) of Alba-La-Romaine. Frederick is an excellent host with plenty of local knowledge. We’ll be back!

Sehr ansprechendes Objekt, toll ausgestattet, hervorragende Nutzbarkeit, tolle Außenkücheund wunderschöne Beleuchtung von Außenbereich und Pool.Die Möbel im Außenbereich als auch die Poolterrasse sind in die Jahre gekommen und dürften erneuert werden. Das hat unsere Urlaubsfreude jedoch nicht geschmälert

We had a great time! Het huis in zeer fijn ingedeeld en van veel gemakken voorzien. De buitenkeuken en eetplek is een geweldige ruimte voor gezelligheid met familie of vrienden. Goede apparatuur en veel servies en bestek. Alles is goed verzorgt en Frederik is een zeer aardige host! Echt een aanrader!

Da passt alles!

Der erste Stern geht an den Eigentümer Frederic, der uns ausgesprochen charmant und herzlich empfangen hat. Das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr sehr schön und lässt nichts vermissen. Wer gerne kocht, wird sich hier besonders wohl fühlen, denn die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und bis ins Detail liebevoll und individuell eingerichtet. Auch der Außenbereich mit schöner Poolanlage und Außenküche ist wunderbar. Insgesamt bietet das Anwesen einen angenehm unaufdringlichen Luxus, kombiniert mit dem typischen provenzalisch-ländlichen Flair. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf's nächste Mal!Bernard und Freunde

Bequeme Schlafsituation in allen Zimmern. Schönes Ambiente v.a. Nachts. Gut ausgestattete Küchen mit professionellen Icemaker. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen viele Mücken deshalb guten Mückenspray nicht vergessen.

Magnifique séjour

Semaine en famille à l'occasion d'un anniversaire. La maison est un havre de paix. Les espaces intérieurs et extérieurs sont magnifiques et spacieux. Toute la famille a adoré cet endroit. Le propriétaire nous y a accueilli chaleureusement et a pris soin de nous rendre le séjour agréable. Il a été très disponible et à l'écoute de nos besoins avant et pendant notre séjour. Alba-la-Romaine est un village adorable, nous avons beaucoup aimé son marché le dimanche, les boulangeries et la boucherie sont de qualité. Jaujac, Vogüé, Balazuc, les grottes Chauvet 2, Aven d'Orgnac, les gorges de l'Ardèche et bien d'autres lieux à visiter ne sont pas loin. Possibilité de belles sorties à vélo également. Excellents restaurants à Alba-la-Romaine et alentours : Les Saveurs d'Alba (Alba) L'auberge Montfleury (St-Germain), La Terrasse des Carmes (St-Thomé). Nous nous y sommes régalés et l'ambiance y est chaleureuse. Nous recommanderions cette maison et cet emplacement sans hésitation.

Des bonnes surprises et des déceptions …

Nous avons passé le mois d’août dans cette propriété en famille/amis. Après un mois de location au tarif maximum (pas de geste pour la location de 4 semaines consécutives), je n’y trouve malheureusement pas mon compte en terme de rapport qualité/prix. Je précise tout de suite que le propriétaire a été à l’écoute des difficultés rencontrées tout au long du séjour et assez réactif pour trouver des solutions. Sur l’annonce, la maison est présentée en villa de standing avec du matériel moderne et luxueux … on se rend vite compte que certains équipements sont vieillissants voir dangereux … Une terrasse de piscine avec du bois très fatiguée et sale (vis apparente en bord de piscine). La piscine n’est pas chauffée, première quinzaine d’août, canicule = piscine agréable tout au long de la journée. Deuxième quinzaine, temps chaud ardéchois, la piscine peine à dépasser les 23, même en fin de journée, la baignade avec les jeunes enfants devient pratiquement impossible … alors pour compenser, le propriétaire a installé un spa (relativement basique), malheureusement, sans comprendre réellement pourquoi, l’eau du spa devenait verte tous les 3-4 jours, le propriétaire venait rapidement changer l’eau (il était très concerné par notre embarras et c’était agréable de le sentir présent) Des bonnes surprises : Matériel de cuisson intérieur/extérieur et équipement cuisine haut de gamme. Écran géant dans la maison Trampoline géant Mauvaises surprises : Lit de 140 dans 2 chambres sur 4 (ce n’est pas standing …) Mobilier « fait maison » pas très durable ni très propre après utilisation (rainure sale dans le bois …) Pas de lumière dans la zone pétanque Ce retour à chaud est très mitigé, mais le plus frustrant est cet espace piscine qui est la raison de notre location et qui est loin d’être à la hauteur de nos espérances … à part cela, la maison est belle, les chambres spacieuses, Salles de bains et sanitaires nickel… Et un propriétaire aux petits soins (et c’est plutôt rare en haute saison) Avec quelques nouveaux aménagements et réparation + une piscine légèrement chauffée, cette location deviendrait parfaite.

Familienferien im Paradies

Ein traumhaftes Haus, liebevoll und sorgfältig eingerichtet. Die Küchen - indoor wie outdoor - sind hochwertig und reichhaltig ausgestattet.Der riesige Garten schafft eine paradiesische Atmosphäre; hier lässt sich immer ein schattiges Plätzchen finden. Der Pool ist sehr gross und nebenan befindet sich zusätzlich ein Whirlpool. Hier lässt es sich bestens ausspannen! Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit. Ferien wie im Paradies!

Ein fantastischer Urlaub

14 Tage Urlaub für Genießer. Ein tolles Anwesen mit sehenswertem Pool, ein netter und lockerer Vermieter - merci Frédéric! - die Villa sauber und absolut perfekt ausgestattet: von der vollautomatischen Kaffeemaschine von de Longhi bis zu echten Luxusherden von LaCanche, sowohl im Haus als auch im Poolhaus plus Gasgrill plus Weinkühlschrank, Eiswürfelbereiter und vieles andere mehr. Alba-La-Romaine ist ein niedliches Örtchen: wichtiger als die Informationen aus dem Reiseführer sind zwei Bäckereien, zwei nette Restaurants, eine Pizzeria, ein Fleischer, zwei kleine Märkte und natürlich eine fussläufig in 300 m erreichbare Weinbaugenossenschaft mit sehr bezahlbaren Weinen von guter Standardqualität. Insbesondere für aktive und weinaffine Urlauber eine tolle Location.

A recommander!

Nous avons passé deux semaines de vacances fabuleuses dans la villa de Frédéric. La villa est très bien située, avec de nombreuses activités ardéchoises proches (canoé, grottes, village classés, etc). Tout est parfait en ce qui concerne la résidence elle même: au calme, parfaitement équipée (grand confort), cadre idyllique, tout est réuni pour passer de vacances de rêves, que cela soit en famille avec des enfants, ou entre amis. Et l'accueil chaleureux de Frédéric permet des les premières minutes, de se plonger dans le bain des vacances sereines!

Découverte de l ardeche

Un excellent séjour

Notre semaine de location s’est très bien déroulée. La maison dispose d’équipements de qualité, et tout particulièrement au niveau de la cuisine d’été ce qui en fait un lieu extrêmement agréable. L’emplacement de la maison permet de rayonner dans une bonne partie de l’Ardèche méridionale et également de profiter, à pieds, du charmant village d’Alba. Frédéric est un hôte agréable et réactif. C’est avec plaisir que nous reviendrons profiter de son accueillante maison et de son jardin lénifiant.

60th birthday treat

The house and grounds are spacious, well-equipped and match the expectations set by the photographs. It is ideal for a group holiday such as ours and provides a great space for outdoors living. A small criticism, but some things were a little "tired" and in need of some attention. For example, the decking around the pool needs oiling and is starting to splinter. The house is in a quite location on the outskirts of the village and we were undisturbed by neighbours. The centre of the pretty, medieval village of Alba La-Romaine is a short walk away and where there are shops to meet holiday catering needs as well as a couple of restaurants. There is a wine merchants at the end of the lane and a diverse street market every Sunday. We were disappointed that a classical concert in the castle had been cancelled due to the Covid pandemic. There is plenty to do locally: walking, cycling (bicycles can be rented in the village) and sight seeing the local villages and Roman ruins. We would recommend: swimming and via ferrata at the Pont du Diable, canoeing at Vallon Pont d'Arc, frisbee golf at Le Tiel and sight-seeing the nearby town of Viviers. Frederic and Maeva were good hosts and did their best to ensure we had a good stay. We would recommend this as a holiday destination.
