Very enjoyable short stay

Unique property with great views from terrace. Well located for both Porto, Regua and other sights along the Douro. Great river beach within a few minutes drive. Maria is a helpful and very friendly host - happy to advise and speaks very good English.

Great house and stunning views

The landlady was very helpful indeed. The house is a tasteful addition of the very modern with a 12th century house that works very well. Nice walks around the countryside although a bit of a hike from the river. Can recommend a trip on the river from the nearby quay. Bitetos Duoro will take you wherever you want and are very reasonable. I was the highlight of our visit. There is a nice beach and a couple of cafes near the quay too. Enjoy. We certainly did.

perfect holiday house for a family

We really enjoyed our stay and found the house exactly like on the pictures. Neat and tidy. Maria was a very helpful host. We specialy appreciated the delivery of fresh bread every morning and our kids loved the pool of course. Thank you Maria for your hospitality. Annett

Oasis

Our hosts, Maria Eugenia and Jose, were amazing! Kind, informative, generous, helpful, I can't say enough about them. We stayed for four days, two couples in the larger home. It was spacious, each couple with their own bathroom. We ate most of our meals at home. Our comadre caught a cold right upon arrival. She had a comfortable place to read, rest and recover, while we enjoyed the pool and had such a wonderful outing in the boat on the Douro river. This was definitely a once in a life time experience. Thank you so much!
