Great location

Easy to walk to all the sites and anything needed. Also it was easy to tell the owners truly cared about their property and how it was presented

Bruno was very informative. The location was excellent. Staying inside the walls if Lucca was a wonderful experience. As older adults, we needed extra effort to carry our baggage up three floors to the apartment.

The apartment was beautiful and right in the heart of the walls. The living room window overlooks the plaza and the bathrooms are awesome. The host was very quick to answer our questions and was kind enough to arrange for someone to meet us when we missed our connecting flight and arrived a day late. The train station is an easy 15 minute walk or a 5 min taxi ride. The taxi would drop us off at the small grocery market with a one block walk to our door. They are not allowed inside the walls. While the description of the stairs is accurate, the reality of climbing them is something else. There are no railings on some of the levels and the levels are different materials, if you have difficulty climbing stairs, then this may be an issue. I may have missed it in the description but paper goods are not provided. There are some there upon arrival and the market around the corner has some. The AC works great and the kitchen is efficiently set up. I enjoyed our stay and would recommend this as a place to stay, it's a beautiful central location to explore Lucca. The hosts are wonderful and were very helpful with our late arrival.I can't wait to go back.
