Peaceful vacation

The house is beautifully furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. Despite our late arrival, the landlord's parents were willing to take us from the meeting point to the house in the middle of the night and explain everything we needed to know. The late departure was also arranged very easily. If you compare the actual state with the pictures, you will notice that some are not quite as up-to-date ;) But that also means that a lot has been improved or added in the meantime. That's why it won't hurt to bring the photos up to date ;)

We all want different things from a holiday...

...so a review is difficult to write. We were a family of five adults looking for some relaxation, but also sightseeing in our week. We were happy to cook at home or eat out. The way to the villa is 3km of not the best back-roads, but we always seem to pick a villa like this! The only downside of this is that you cannot easily walk into the town for an evening meal or a pint of milk. The villa itself is semi-detached, but next door only turned up for one night. The two houses are pretty much in splendid isolation, and although the main road is only 600 metres away, it is not too busy and there was not much noise. The little beach is accessible by walking through large storm drains under the road and railway. The pool in not over large - the website photos are a little deceptive - but was certainly big enough for us to enjoy ourselves on our lilos. The villa provided plenty of sleeping areas and had all the equipment we needed. Most importantly, it was clean. It is not overlooked. We enjoyed our days out in Barcelona - 90 minutes away, although the road tolls on the motorway were about 40€ there and back (2016) Tarragona is a nice city too. The Natural Park of Ebre makes for a very different change of scenery. L'Ametlla provides a good supermarket just out of town, and a nice little port area with plenty of eating places. It is not very touristy, and very few English were there. We like this, as it means we are seeing something that is more typically Spanish. David was very helpful when called upon for a couple of minor things. Overall, we had a great week in a nice clean villa, helped by an almost cloudless sky! Thank you David

Hemos pasado unas vacaciones maravillosas en esta casa y la experiencia ha sido perfecta en todos los sentidos. Viajamos en familia y desde el primer momento nos sentimos como en casa. La casa es amplia, muy limpia y equipada con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda y relajante.La piscina fue sin duda el gran punto fuerte: muy bien cuidada y perfecta para disfrutar todos juntos, tanto niños como adultos. Nos hemos pasado horas allí, aprovechando al máximo cada momento.El entorno es tranquilo y seguro, ideal para descansar. Alles was man benötigt (und noch mehr) ist im Inventar zu finden. Etwas abgelegen aber dadurch absolute Ruhe. David war sehr nett und hat bei fragen schnell geantwortet. Das Haus war vor uns bereits frei und wir konnten bereits nachts einchecken. Gerne wieder und danke für den schönen Urlaub

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la villa. Les espaces communs sont spacieux notamment la terrasse couverte extérieure, la piscine la cuisine et le salon. Nous remercions Luis, Sa femme et David pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. La plage est accessible par un chemin à 10 minutes à pied.

Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub

Wir waren mit zwei Familien (10 Personen) da. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, klimatisiert und es hat uns an Nichts gefehlt. Der Pool ist groß genug für alle. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter problemlos. Der Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Frische Brötchen haben wir oft im Supermarkt am Campingplatz morgens beim Spaziergang mit dem Hund geholt (2km). Der größere Strandabschnitt befindet sich direkt in der Stadt L‘Ametlla de Mar. Eine kleine Bucht befindet sich nur 8-10 Minuten zu Fuß. Hier haben wir schöne Fotos machen können, oder einfach mal Abends nochmal im Meer gebadet. Rundum ein gelungener Urlaub.

Gran semana!

Espacios comunes muy amplios y cómodos para disfrutar en família. Casa muy bien equipada. Zona muy tranquila. Hemos disfrutado mucho! La cala del estany podrit está a 10 minutos andando. El único inconveniente es el acceso con vehículo por camino asfaltado pero bastante deteriorado. En general, una gran semana!

Vacances au calme en famille

Séjour très agréable dans la villa tout à fait conforme au descriptif, super bien équipée tant à l'intérieur (cuisine et séjour, literie confortable) qu'à l'extérieur (barbecue "de compétition", table de pingpong, babyfoot sans oublier la piscine très prisée). Nous avons apprécié les plages familiales et tranquilles ainsi que les visites dans les environs. Et nous remercions nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité.

This house was built by my grandfather and my father when I was 1 year. I have always vacationed there and I have some very special memories .
Terres de l' Ebre is an emerging tourist destination , far from the crowds of the conventional tourist routes , with stable and favorable weather throughout the year . They are certainly a destination to enjoy it with family and friends.
In the Terres de l' Ebre find as many options as you can imagine : its coastline, a rich cultural and historical heritage , beautiful natural landscapes in which to enjoy outdoor activities , a typically Mediterranean , a wide range of leisure, areas of great tradition and rice wine and a variety of festivals and historical reenactments .

The Ebro River has been , and possibly still is the backbone of these four regions , the most southerly of Catalonia . But it is also a place to enjoy , either sailing aboard a tourist lute , or taking a canoe or kayak ride .
Terres de l' Ebre shines through natural spaces , one of the main reasons to visit . They find two natural parks , the Ebro Delta and Els Ports , a nature reserve and 19 spaces , all protected .
The coast has all the variants in the Mediterranean Sea. North stand coves , hidden by the cliffs , and to the south dominate the wide beaches of fine sand and shallow waters .
